Anyone else get major 458 Italia vibes from this exhaust? Gives such a nice exotic sound to it while still sounding absolutely menacing lol. Love it. Great video as always!

Not as good as it should have been, Fabspeed are not capable of what GINTANI CAN DO!!!! also those exhaust tips are chinese fake carbon ones that have been everywhere selling for extremely cheap so fabspeed fucked up

They definitely put the C8Z i to the supercar realm with that new chassis and engine setup. I wasnt a big fan of them before this video, like I liked them, but still preferred the C6/C7. Now I may still prefer that pushrod V8 sound, but have a huge newfound love for the C8! The fact that it sounds like a supercar, and looks like one is insane coming from an American car!

If you raise the spoiler you put it in cleaner air and you can produce more downforce, also it looks more aggressive.
I agree looks stupid so high up.
The wing has a cool design to it that gets lost with the simple risers.
@@yann9378 I may be wrong but I believe the wing is curved how it is to lower drag. If you raise it up it may produce more downforce, but it will produce a lot more drag.

Absolutely. That's what I have been saying. These things sound and look like one of those amusement park car rides where it's really just a body frame built around an engine. It's not one complete car

As a person who is blind and I love listening to car audio. This car is a mix of an SVJ and a McLaren. I studied a bunch of videos and it gives me that vibe now.
I feel like with all of the car content available and that I personally watch, I've probably become desensitized to exhaust upgrades over video but.. WOW! Insane! Sounded like the crack of a whip in the shop.

The stock exhaust is surprisingly loud, obviously the straight pipe is louder, but the tone didn't change much, still sounds amazing.

It kinda has that V12 raspiness of an 812 on startup but obviously sounds like a 458 on steroids….oof I just love it 🔥

I LOVE IT!!!! I hope its not too much to ask for but can you make a PoV video? I think its my favorite car now, considering its much more attainable than an SVJ even though, 200K is still a lot. I love it, Corvette has transformed from a fast car to a car that you just go on back roads and just stay in high revs to hear it sing, especially when its right against some buildings or other cars! They are on the right track. I believe it still has more high end left in it. More like the 458, F1 sound. Maybe different material? Longer pipes? IDK, not an engineer but I'd bet Gintani can get that F1 sound out of it.
Headers will do it. Stock headers are a 4-2-1 design, not perfectly equal length. Give it an equal length 4-1 header and it’ll get even more high pitched. Believe it or not. Stock 458s are lower pitched then the stock zo6 is. All the screaming 458s you see on the internet with the “f1” sound have upgraded headers because the stock 458 headers aren’t perfectly equal length either.
