On first watch Feyd referred to Chani has Paul’s ‘pet’ and I initially took that as disrespect. On my second watch, I noticed how Feyd genuinely cared for his ‘pets’. So now I’m not sure how to interpret that interaction during the duel. Is Feyd drawing parallels between him and Paul? Is he goading him as to say ‘If I kill you, how would you like me to take care of her?’.
It's a bit of both. In the novel the Baron forces Feyd to personally kill all of his harem 'pets' as punishment for Feyd making a poorly-thought out assassination attempt on him, so by the time he fights Paul he's eager to 'replenish' his stock, and presumably would see that Chani is cared for as his ultimate goal is to prove he's the 'good' Harkonnen who will look after the inhabitants of Arrakis in ways Rabban never did. On the flipside, he is still a Harkonnen so his comment is meant to confirm he will do as his lineage is known for and take the spoils from his defeated foes, including their wives and women.
