@@nic0856 One percent? lol there are much more expensive stuff than this and they still can't afford it? I'm not rich, I just saying there are a lot of people that can afford this
What... 0:29 - This song is called Standchen by Schubert. I sang this my freshman year of college (and it was a nightmare for me then) but what a pleasant surprise it is to hear it 7 years later.
For anyone that doesn't know, these are extremely hard to play. Yes its like a piano, but if you really want to hit the notes you have to push pretty hard with your fingers. It takes a lot of finger strength to play roli keyboards
I bought a roli rise 25 about 4-5 years ago. It looked so sick in the youtube videos I had seen about it. I got it and messed with it some and it was cool but I found it really hard to play. To me it seemed like it was too easy to hit other notes or trigger other sounds by mistake. I ended up selling it after not using it much. I regretted not just buying a decent keyboard.
the performance shown in the video is definitely heavily edited and cleaned to get those phenomenal smooth expressions. the seaboard definitely makes it easier to reach that result, but this is not the result of performing live on the seaboard
OooooOoooOooo i am following thus brand verrrry closely for iterations that are 61 keys and have DAW integration for synths and synth manipulation especially Cubase 10 pro in my case. As soon as you do I'm buying!!!! I want the unique string capabilities but I want more options and control! Thank you!!!!!
Well, there is the Seaboard Grand Stage model, which I have. it does have 61 keywaves (five octaves), and it integrates quite well with Cubase 10 Pro (and particularly the "Note Expression" feature), which I also have. It has 3 pedal inputs, but is otherwise a bit thin with controls, although you can always couple it with another device. Equator synth is built in, so it can be used for live performance without a computer. It's a discontinued model, but you should be able to find one new or used somewhere. It's worked well for me.
Wrong! Probably there is a lot of skilled keyboardists on the comments section... if you are proficient on keyboard/piano you'll do just fine on a Seabord, it is like a good acoustic guitar player will play just nice an electric guitar, or a good piano player will be just fine playing a keyboard/Seaboard.
Sounds not included, lol. You have to buy the SWAM pack separately to get all these sounds, which is a super expensive $1400: audiomodeling.com/swam-all-in-bundle/
The talent is awesome. And the tech is mind-blowing. I just bought one, mostly on this video. Can someone explain how they were able to divide the keyboard like that? I'm new to Roli/Camelot. But have been using SWAM on GeoShred for about a year. So tech training/tips/explainer video would be great! Thank you!
They don't have to use royalty free music for the outro, they can just use their own music, actually, they don't even need an outro because the whole video is them playing on the very expensive piano thing
I've spent hours trying to figure out how to get my Seaboard Rise 2 to split the keyboard so I can play two different SWAM instruments, as they demonstate in this video. I have all the tools but can't find the method to make this happen. And help/support is nearly impossible. This is my long shot...please help!!
@@_just_saying I have not! Should I try? Is it expensive? Thanks so much for replying. I did find out that using daw software and then filtered tracks for each instrument is probably the way to do it. That seems processing heavy to me. I assumed swam could do this easier, like some of the split Equator2 sounds or my other digital keyboard can do at a button push.
Violinist: pianos just aren't versatile enough....
Roli: Hold my vibrato!
In fact, if you listen closely, you can hear the discrete sound of a keyboard.

Very nice Multidimensional Instruments some more price drops and it will be everywhere..

William Roark I think this could become a popular instrument in future
Yea if it was $320 cheaper

omg thank u so much
For anyone that doesn't know, these are extremely hard to play. Yes its like a piano, but if you really want to hit the notes you have to push pretty hard with your fingers. It takes a lot of finger strength to play roli keyboards
Okay you could both play musics and exercise your muscles at the same time? Sounds fair to me
Maybe the 1st ones but I have a 25 key and it's extremely responsive. Pressure is adjustable in the programs though
As far as the Roli Rise is concerned, they're too sensitive, or at least the maximum pressure ought to be a bit firmer, imo. Still great though!
I would think that masturbation could contribute to strengthening your fingers for this fantastic instrument.

Finally a video showing the potential for classical instruments played on the seaboard! ☺️👍
One of the greatest advertisements I have very seen. I'm blown away
Finally, now I can hear how amazing this thing is instead of having to imagine it.

it sounds so good by itself but i can imagine it with vocals. hot damn

You have to have the instrument to build skill with it.
