If the parents are married do they need to open an account? or it can be on the student account? the webpage has this information: "To complete a CSS Profile application as a parent, it is recommended that you use your student’s College Board account."
hi, kindly advise for International students' parents entering tax, assets and liabilities - Our tax year differ from the US and the number of the docs you mentioned makes no sense to us - pls give us a list of the full names of the docs - so we can match to what we have, thx
Hello, regarding the net income from business question on the css, I am wondering whether I should put the wage of my mother as that is the only money she receives from the business (the dilemma is due to there already being a question about wage and I dont want them to think that she makes double what she actually does) or whether I should just leave it as 0
This is the question where I am stumped - "How much did XXXX earn from work in 2023? (required)" What number do I include here? Is this gross pay or is this W2 box 1 (which is quite different from gross)? or is it something different?
for the Market Value Home question, is the number you report the current market value minus the remaining mortgage? basically, the equity you have in the home?
The CSS Profile asks for your home purchase price, purchase year, current value, and current debt. Their software calculates the equity in your home by subtracting your current debt from the current value.
Yes - it's different. Priority deadlines typically come before the regular decision deadlines. If you apply by the priority deadline, your application might be reviewed earlier, and you might receive the decision ahead of those who apply by the Regular Decision deadline.
If the retirement accounts question is not required, why answer it? If you leave it blank, the following question on the retirement account balance does not come up. So, why volunteer information that it not required?

Just put it in one place. Does she own her a business? If you shared her income and if's there's no net income from the business then leave it as 0.

similarly for the question "XXXX income from work (required)" Is this the estimated gross or W2 box 1 or something else?
@@lorrienitti9071same question, should I put gross or net salary (i am international)

@@Road2College not sure I understand. Do I report the current market value on that line or just the equity portion which is considered "what I own"?
@@jeffswierkas far as I understand you don’t input the equity yourself. The css form will calculate that automatically
Can I enter IDOC immediately after completing CSS
