I cant believe i found mario kart double dash and paper mario twice in the same week! See all of my pickups first on instagram Www.instagram.com/collectorsluck
I think my best score this past year was a facebook market post that listed a crappy DS I. But in the description the girl listed she had games. She went me a pic and omg, pokemon heartgold, soulsilver black, black 2, white, white 2 diamond and platinum. She had a very odd price and said it was to save for her future job which made no sense to me. it was $53? I asked if she had anything else and she said she had a galaxy 3ds but it would have to be $60 to add that....WHAT!! $7 for a galaxy 3DS?! I was like this has be a scam, but I went anyways. halfway there I got a call on the phone number given from i guess the girls mom, yikes she was only 13. I explained she was selling me stuff and she said meet them at the driveway she did not know her daughter was using FB. Anyways it was all legit, insane find you know the value for $60 thats beyond insane. I threw her a little extra too for good karma. I also funny enough found a posting that turned out to be around the corner and got a vita 2001 model and a game for $100, I turned that for $200 so eveything from the girl was free!! Still out of all the hunting styles garage sales are my drug of choice, I hate winter lol
I have a feeling that a lot of the people saying “You’re so lucky! I don’t have any games in my area...” aren’t putting in the work. The way you describe your research process makes me realize why I’d go weeks without finding anything decent. Good video man.
I've done porch pickups before, but $100 under the mat is a trust leap of faith for sure. Always worried someone walking by is gonna snatch it lol. Glad it worked out.
its just a bummer when you agree on a price for a game(s) especially if its the price they listed it for and the people who miss out on the deal message and blow up the person saying they are selling it to cheap cause it got marked pending and they didn’t get it, just happened to me like two days ago so she refuse to sell it to me because she looked it up on ebay and came up with some ridiculous price for more than game went for.
I'm super late, but man I hate that shit too. It's even worse when the seller makes up some bs. I was going to buy this lots of DS games from this lady and she tried telling me someone else was gonna pick them up. Next day I look on Facebook (deal originally on offerup) and there they are, for sale from the same lady for a ridiculous price. Their items never sell either because it's not like they'll ever post them up on eBay or ship them. If you miss out on a deal, just leave the seller alone and let the buyer buy lol.
I’m definitely going to take the advice about yard sales. I don’t have a whole lot of places that sell games outside of the big stores like Walmart. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Another great video man half way through it and I’m loving it some amazing games in that GameCube lot 👌🏻 Well put together and I’m happy to see more and more content from you 🔥
Love your videos guy. You've inspired me to start doing this in my area. I wish I had thought of it BEFORE I completed my collections though lol. At least this way I can make a little money back. Idk how you find such good scores though its DRY around here.
I did that yesterday from one of you last vida and I msg a couple and got one hit. Wasn't even on her listings. Got a nice 360 mint condition bundle with a ton of games mint condition and some nice custom controller for a really good price. I'm gonna say this method does work
“Do you have anything else besides this PS3 and tub of complete Gamecube shit?” “Nah. Oh wait, heres a vita.” Lol killin it dude. And you stiffarmed on that $250 mark. That’s how its done.
Like im pretty sure most of the times people are giving you good deals cause you're really nice to them, and I think the other girl was slightly crushing on you. Lol 😆 Good video as always
Do you ever come across Wii’s with games downloaded on to it? If so what do you do with them keep the games on or factory reset the console for selling.
Sucks we don't really get garage sales here in the uk, carboots sales are the best way to find stuff, but sadly these days not much retro turns up, so many of us buy up all the common ps3, wii and 360 games and trade in a store called cex and with the trade credit buy the retro, for hunting wish was more like the US, good vid chap. 👍
When people pull the “I had to drive so long to get here” I hold firm on my price. Drive time doesn’t count for me when a buyer decides they want what I have.
Once in a while? It seems like you have the most luck of any hunter I have ever seen on like a daily basis. awesome finds. I caught a great 12 title complete gamecube lot most those games and other top ones and some harder to find Wii U gaves at 1:30pm at a town wide garage sale. How No one asked is beyond me, I have so much competition its crazy. Anyways I think I paid like $40 for like $500 plus worth games. I am trying your method and it worked out once already. I also buy pretty much anything at sales besides games I know I can make money on to recoup my costs so my keepers are free and I make a profit. Win win!!
Yeah he seems to just ask nicely and probably smartly uses like a nice profile picture of him smiling... It's funny cjr which I've liked for years he kind of starts doing wimpy complaining if it's missing a cord or something...to get lower price always rubbed me wrong on CJR, but this guy's like oh no big deal I don't want to waste your time looking for it I totally like the way this guy does it better than CJR. When people hit up on buying stuff and they are not nice texts and pics look like they shady, I don't hold shit....presentation goes a long way.
normally I get Vita's for about 50-60euros with 8gb Vita card, USB cable and ~1 game. I got some units. I love portable devices. And Vita is a good shit for hacking and this console is not died at all.
Ugh! When I see a collection like this I KNOW that the owner really appreciates Nintendo games. I'm sure this guy's wife was in trouble when hubby came home... Think the husband would have sold if he was home?
You got a nice amount of stuff but tbh price chart is rarely accurate. Best to check what it has sold for on eBay to accurately price out what it will sell for.

That girl when you said 250$ fir everything together her mouth dropped
I did that yesterday from one of you last vida and I msg a couple and got one hit. Wasn't even on her listings. Got a nice 360 mint condition bundle with a ton of games mint condition and some nice custom controller for a really good price. I'm gonna say this method does work

You're so lucky people actually hold stuff and respond to messages, it never happens around me
Game night 3 goes for about $25-30 as well.
“Do you have anything else besides this PS3 and tub of complete Gamecube shit?”
“Nah. Oh wait, heres a vita.”
Lol killin it dude. And you stiffarmed on that $250 mark. That’s how its done.

That soccer mom though. I definitely appreciate that too. 😆😆😆
we dont rly have garage sales here in the UK....Sad times
Do you ever come across Wii’s with games downloaded on to it? If so what do you do with them keep the games on or factory reset the console for selling.
Sometimes. I just leave them on there and sell them for the same price. Digital game have 0 value to me.
Great Haul! I would've spent 100 on the Gamecube box in a heartbeat
redcard 2003 for gamecube is super hard to find.
Is it? I wouldnt know.
Omg so jealous of the cheap Vita....did you like the Uncharted game for it im huge fan of Uncharted and loved that one

Take advantage of that trade credit while you can (:

Dude you been puting the weight on lol

Soul Calibur 2 for the GameCube is great

How do you get people to hold lots for you? For me it's mostly first come first serve
Ask nicely? Idk honestly I just ask them to and they do.

Minneapolis Minnesota brotha
You got a nice amount of stuff but tbh price chart is rarely accurate. Best to check what it has sold for on eBay to accurately price out what it will sell for.
Price chart gives a rough estimate.
Do you find lots of Gameboy games?
I dont find gameboy stuff very often.
Here for the dumbass hate comments 😂 where y’all at come on
I'm surprised that there are garage sales open because of the Virus
Lots of garage sales all over in my area.
Good finds but super Mario galaxy 2 has 242 stars and if you haven’t gotten the green stars you totally should.
You can get all 121 as both mario and luigi for a total of 242 . Ive done it on both mario galaxy games (:
You have thousands of dollars in games but can't afford a price charting subscription lol
I can afford it, im just too cheap to pay for it. 😂
@@CollectorsLuck it's cheaper than a Starbucks coffee.
I dont drink coffee my dude
@@CollectorsLuck it's cheaper than Hannah Montana on DS
Sold all my junk games.
Question if she had of held firm at 275 would you have walked? Just curious is all
Id have tried to meet in the middle. 260. It was a 1 hour round trip for me
@@CollectorsLuck ahhh and also thanks for the tips about the garage sales
Why you make her wait until 1pm though? You lucky on that one.
She didn't respond until than, I messaged her real early
@@CollectorsLuck Oh, I figured you would have been there early for that haul unless one of your legs fell off or something.
Oh i would have but there was no address for her sale. I had to wait for her to send the address, you know I'd have been there at 6am otherwise haha
I would have just taken the good titles for the Gamecube, I think she would have taken 50 for the first party games only. The rest aren't worth 150.
She knew what the good games were and I already had her hold all of them for me so...
