wow the 440 sounds great. i've got the lct 330 which also sounds terrific on acoustic guitar, but the 440 pure is amazing for the price!

I love the 440 DM, it's my favorite mic for guitar cabs, you should try the LCT340 on acoustic guitar, it sounds great too.

Recording sounds like money. Seriously, I don't think the full mix but with Neumänner would've sounded a huge lot better, Lewitt really offers some serious gear, proud to have such nice microphones coming from my country :D

It seems you were concentrating on their least expensive, and likely best selling microphones. I'm sure you could do a whole video just on the LCT 640 TS, with the dual output mode, though I suppose they've already made some good videos on that one.
Thankyou again Pete!... Been trying to find a good mic for acoustic/vocal for my home recordings... People seem to think its a great mic and now I see your using them... Sold. I have just pulled the trigger on the 440 pure.
I own the 440 pure and I`ll never give it away! But how about the low stuff, like Kick and Bass? Has Lewitt something to offer for those lows?

Wow. What a great sound. I mean, I always love your sound when you play with the Loadboxes and IRs, but this somehow sounds.... different. More organic, maybe not as "full" when playing outside of the mix, but in the mix it just sits so well and sounds so fat and natural.
What striked me really hard: The Pure 440 on the distorted electric guitar. The mixture with the dynamic one was of course perfect, but it would work when only using the 440 without missing anything. My condenser lacks the cut and punch when not using a 57 along with it.... hmmm....
Yea it does sound really great on electric, the 440! I agree! It’d really shine used live in this application I think, also.
@@PeteThorn That would have been a further question: is it usable live or does it pick up too much of the stage-noise? I do play in bands myself, but at the moment i do a lot more FoH-jobs. And i sometimes have to mix those nerds, who have a really good sound with great mics etc., but their mics pick up everything, not only their guitar, especially in smaller venues. And to persuade them, that my 57s would do a better job in that particular case, is sometimes very tough. And to have 1-2 well working condensers in my bag for those cases would be a great thing :D
very nice miking setup ...i prefer Ribbon + Dyna 4 this miking purpose....
Condensers works better for acoustic instruments to capture all the nuances N add warmth

I am a singer and currently using SAMSON C01u USB Condenser Microphone and want to upgrade my home vocal recording setup. I am confused with the following microphones:
1. Lewitt LCT 240 PRO
2. Lewitt LCT 440 PURE
Note : I don't have a treated room.
Looking forward for your suggestion.

This may seem like an obnoxious question, but I've wondered whether Pete is blind in one eye or if he just has a lazy eye. I only ask because I have an acquaintance that has a similar eye thing and is blind in one eye, but you would hardly know because he doesn't let it hold him back. Pete Thorn is awesome by the way!
He’s not blind in that eye. He talks about it frequently, even during live streams. Love ya Pete!

Hey, just last week I put out my Treble Boosters video. That was just me makin a vid, not a gear demo. Just like my “Amps In The Zone” vids, Tone Secrets etc. There’s my “So you wanna be a pro musician” series, as well as my weekly live stream. And then there’s the gear demos that I’ve made and built my channel on for over 10 years. It’s a mixture. I make part of my living doing this- and I also offer a lot of free content that takes a LOnG time and lots of effort to make. U try it- it’s not easy!
