I am a retired owner of a pest control company in Texas. I want to share some knowledge in regards to the insecticide spray you made. Insects have an exoskeleton (from Greek έξω, éxō "outer" and σκελετός, skeletons "skeleton") is the external skeleton that supports and protects an animal's body. The soap itself penetrates insects' cuticles, which causes cell collapse and desiccation. Excellent video's I am a subscriber. Keep up the good work. TxTrapper South Texas
@Tx Trapper Thank you for the reassurance regarding the bug spray. I was wondering what your advice maybe regarding soil mites. I've been doing the spray but they're still around. I even see them walking on the furniture. I don't want to do a toxic treatment. Will they eventually die out with the spray?
Hi Lee. Tried this on my chilli plants to rid them of a plague of aphids. The chilli plants suffered badly losing their leaves and eventually dying. Removed the oil content and it worked fine and the chilli plants went on to produce many kilos of chillies. For some unknown reason chilli plants can't cope with the oil in the insecticide. On other plants the insecticide was brilliant. Only mention this so other people growing chillies will be aware. Many thanks once again for all the advice given in your videos, I wouldn't be doing this without you, you are an inspiration,
2sp neem oil (best) or vegetable oil 1 spoon eco friendly washing up soap (not detergent) Spray bottle 500ml of water Mix and shake before applying Do this after the sun has set if your plants are growing in a hot climate
@Kaisha Lamour I have used a natural soap with no additives. It is a solid soap called Savon de Marseille. I grated it & dissolved it in hot water, then added oil and baking soda. This killed all Aphids on my infested plants. The baking soda was to control mildew & early blight
Hi. I used this method on my pear tree two years ago, was suffering from fungi infection and pest damage. This works, the tree is now lush and green. I won't use anything else.
@@memerhd8888 My bad. It does say "garden pests" in the video. I was really furious with my house fly problem. When I get angry I tend to lose perceptive skills. It's really annoying when I've got a problem and I can't find a single solution on the Internet.

worked for me. It's beautifully sunny, 30 degrees here where I am and I've grown my first plants from seed, thanks to you. It's been an adventure as I'm in the desert, however, we still get insect issues. I had to spray for leaf miner and it ended up getting rid of the flies too, but I might have made a huge mistake using soil that I had composted with the leaf miner leaves and I saw a few eggs and new flies coming off of it. I hope I haven't done in my whole garden now
Just keep a good eye on your Garden over the next few days. I have a leaf miner video if you haven't seen it already. Good luck and keep me posted if you have any more issues
Thought I'd share something I just.."learned" (heard explained)..: Insects don't taste heat. In other words they're unaffected by capsasium found in hot peppers. So hot pepper used in insecticides isn't doing anything to the bugs. Oil does, so if it's a oil containing spray then that's probably what's doing it. Hot pepper sprays are good for detering mammals (rabbits, deer, etc.) for example. Also, for soap, I'd use a castile soap. You can get them in peppermint or lavender etc, which certain bugs "don't like" supposedly. Peace.
Thank you so much! This is of big help for my plants ! I can now take care of my plants without worrying about insects and pest. And most especially, this is safe to use and no chemical included! 👍😊
You give the disclaimer about plants that have hairs afterwards. Lol. Just made it with you. - it's for my cucumber plants, which are in that same family & I made with neem oil. Thank you for this recipe. I just poured half the amount out & added water - I have heard insects hate peppermint oil so I added 2 drops of peppermint essential oil to this mix.
Very helpful. I knew about dish liquid and water but not about adding vegetable oil to increase effectiveness. This should help enormously with aphid control. Also glad you included the tip about being careful not to apply it the wrong time of day in hotter climates. My roses thank you. Happy Valentine’s 💕.

Hello, amazing videos man! Got one question, does this trick work against green stinkbugs, they've been attacking my grandma's garden this summer. Thanks again for the amazing videos.
Someone told me that dishsoap will harm plant leaves membranes. That the plant has a protective coating on the leaves and dishsoap disolves the coating. Is this correct?
I get massive, by the millions, spring tales every year as well as aphids and they’re are completely out of control. I’ll try this this year. I’ve gotten very discouraged and I’m anxious about it this year too.
I use beem powder dilute it with apple cider vinigar ( home made ) and distiled water . Also I use onion skin and garlic skins boil em up and strain then dilute one part onion and garlic juice to two parts water and spray. Also I use fermented fruit peals like citris and pine apples . Oil veg oil is trans fat and will stack into the plant obscuring the plants taste and flavours, dish soap has chemicals , bi carb is fine but use it one part bi carb one part white vinigar , and four parts distilled water .
Thank you for making another info packed video. Quick qestion tho is there no need to wash off this solution after applying it or do you just leave it on the plant? Also, how do you make garlic insect repelant? All your thumbnails look awesome btw. Happy New Year!
It will wash off when you water it or if it rains but there's no problem if it stays on the leaves, as long as you don't use too much oil and water in the evenings. I'll make a video on Pesticides using Garlic and Chili soon. I'm glad you like my graphic designs. Happy new year to you too :)

I'm glad! :)
Thank you brother
