I'll admit, the story of his dad introducing him to comic books because he was having trouble reading made me tear up. My father died 2 months before I turned 18, so I know how hard it is to lose your father just as you're about to figure out how to be an adult.

Rumors suggest this guy can bump inside and play guard. I am not sure that Brandell will end up starting for Minnesota. Brandell is more of a quality backup and spot starter.
He has fantastic mentors in Darrisaw and O'Neil, and can definitely develop behind those two. I hope he'll be ready to step in if someone goes down and maybe eventually take over if one leaves! SKOL
