damn you're really good at explaining what you're doing and why, very rare to come by. i understand vital a lot better now. these basses remind me a lot of shockz tunes
I also have a free synth called Surge. It's not very beginner friendly, and the FM system is ugh but recent update it has a fuck ton of effects and right clicking most of the parameters gives you extra hidden controls and unexpected unique features like Absolute/Relative unison in semitones instead of cents, etc.. In most filters you can type the frequency but modulating is by Hz only.
great video, can you do the main bass for OG Nixon's new song "get f****ed"? its a cross between a machine gun bass and riddim bass. seems hard to do from a synth without layering samples imo
a simple way to achieve this kind of sound is to take a normal riddim bass and shape your main lfo into something quicker and pluckier this should get you pretty good results
twist whatever knob you want to automate, and click in the top left somewhere and there should be a button to create automation from your last tweaked parameter
Good sir, what in your opinion really differentiates riddim from dubstep? is there one single characteristic or more that when you hear it your are like "oh yeah... this is Riddim, not dubstep." From what I gathered so far tempo and energy differences.
1. the beat: riddim is 4 on the floor with claps and offbeat hats 2. the arrangement: riddim is a lot simpler with less variations in the sound design eith stronger flow and repetition, almost trancelike
"Idk what kinda algorithm they are using but it sounds good to my ears" hahah i felt that

Hey man I use FL but have you figured out how to automate parameters on vital?
twist whatever knob you want to automate, and click in the top left somewhere and there should be a button to create automation from your last tweaked parameter
@@BuntingMusic Tools, last tweaked, create automation :)
How to automate at end u showed that u automated lfo 1
