Hiya Greg, good effort. As you said "sometimes things just don't work out". Thanks for the mention lol. I just call them rotary wire brushes. The larger concave ones that don't have wire strands in the centre I call cup brushes.. Cheers, Wonky Simon..
@@simonwiggle1791 thanks for answering that question. Idk why I would have a idea that maybe they were called a whisker biscuit across the pond lol. Thanks for being a good sport and watching. God bless.
Good attempt on the mower Greg. Look forward to your videos on how you try to fix them. I work in customer service and I have been saying for years people need to be nicer. Happy Holidays
@@PB-oj6jd thank you for your kind words. Totally agree with you. It costs zero dollars to be kind to others. Sometimes I wonder if certain people just aren't built with it in them but then I have to remember that I used to be one of those very people. Thank you for watching. God bless you.
Rarely see those, I had one come my way several years ago. I fixed it and sent it on its way. It was sad that the person who bought it stored it outside Expecting it to work after leaving it outside over the winter. Parts for it are difficult to come by. I did find that the carb seat is the same as the one for the Briggs quantum.
@@dfields9511 yeah I was hoping it would just be a simple carb issue because I have tons of needle and seats for them but sadly it wasn't. I've had multiple of these and seem to get old toro stuff quite often. They're good mowers usually. God bless.
@@veb92168 I thought that too. I tried the plug in a different engine and it works fine. Just had two bad coils unfortunately. I'm sure it'll run with a good coil. Thank you for the suggestion and for watching. God bless.
Have a look if you have other coils I remember one that I had never had this mower before and the coil went bad and I found a Briggs coil that fitted and that was a surprise
I went through my spare coils found one close but not one exact. I really wish I would have had a good one. Running low on spare parts and money currently. Thank you for watching and God bless.
@hunterthestihlchainsawguy4465 I have in the past. Don't have any videos on them though usually it's just a carb swap or fuel lines on those. I don't really enjoy working on the tiny two stroke stuff and it seems to get less and less each year with electric stuff taking over. Thank you for watching. God bless.
@@dfields9511 yes I have one. I've tested them in the past but didn't remember the spec. Thanks for the reminder though. Thank you for watching. God bless.

Maybe the sparkplug was bad

Do u have a multi meter. There is a way to ohms test a coil to see if it is good.

Good try though
Thank you. Appreciate the kind words. I wish it would have went better though. God bless you.
