Regarding Asylum - I remember watching this when it aired, as I had also been anticipating it. I actually enjoyed it, despite it's drawbacks (particularly Amy & Rory's divorce, and making "love save the day", so to speak). While it is an episode that doesn't exactly make much sense with any of its plot points, I still found it to be rather enjoyable (and I did like the rather brief classic Who mentions, as well). It's not altogether bad, hacking the Daleks' database was a cool idea (and they didn't make it permanent, so it doesn't ruin anything), Matt Smith is enjoyable in everything, and there are certainly Dalek stories that are far less enjoyable. Also, The Chase was insanely entertaining!!
Nice to hear your thoughts, my main problem with Victory and Asylum is that we got two dalek reboots in a row and the series dropped them as soon as they were introduced!
Load of bollocks. 1. Power 2. Evil 3. The Daleks 4. Dalek 5. Invasion of Earth 6. Planet of 7. Master Plan 8. Resurrection 9. Remembrance.....that's all that matter.
My 5 favourite dalek stories are The Daleks Dalek Stolen Earth, Journeys End Resulotion Power Of The Daleks I've not seen Rembrance , Genesis or most classic who Dalek stories But I do love Day Of The Daleks
While I’m sure we’d all tinker with the list to make it our own I can’t see many major changes and it’s all well argued. I love the passion you have for Revelation, cracking story! My personal top 3 are Genesis, Masterplan and Day. Enjoyed watching 😁
