      If it's not on the site he was on why should it be maintained.....don't forget he rescued the dredges which had been dormant for much ,onger than 5 years or have you not been following the show that long......I think it was 2012 or 2013 when he got his first one and that would be called retro now, look at some of the old shows is what I would suggest to you..

      well tony has been fighting trying to get water rights back because he forgot to pay for them and keep them update to date and that part of Canada when it comes to this the First Nations took over so they want more money from theses guys that's part of why parker left Canada to mine in Alaska

      That’s how they used to run them. Couldn’t tell you why, but is not tight like a bike chain

      @@thems_the_brakesmy family operated dredges. But that was in the netherlands. Nope! Its not a bike chain!
      But you go from starboard to port. Whit this space in the bucket line they can come loose of the sprocket. Half it.

    They should rename all these types of shows that claim to be about hunting for gold. The majority of them focus on mechanical issues and the only gold you see is like a pile of sand at the very end. I wish they'd spend more time filming the people who go out into the bush with metal detectors and find nuggets, I think that’s what most viewers would prefer to watch.

    • @mrastleysghost
      @mrastleysghost 8 месяцев назад

      The majority of the clips about Australian gold hunter shows on here seem to be focused on the metal detectors. There's some giant nuggets in those ones. Alaska/Yukon (at least the shows) seems focused on this sort of gold mining

      These shows are all staged. I've got a family friend who's a logger in northern Maine. They asked to do one of these shows with him and he said sure. It wasn't even a week into filming when they asked him to pretend to get lost. They basically just wanted him to act like a wild man and break shit. So naturally he told them to fuck off. And don't even get me started on ax men. That show literally has a script.

    So what idiot thought it was a good idea to build a dredge on a pond just slightly larger than the dredge? My guess is the reason it hasn't run in 5 seasons is because they ran it for an hour 5 years ago and got all the gold out.

    • @codyg2921
      @codyg2921 8 месяцев назад +7

      Thays how it works they mine in front of them they anchor to the ground behind them and they let more out as it digs it moves forward and tailings behind you only need a small pond pump a little water in if needed and you just plug away it rotates left and right making a path in front and they use bulldozers and diggers in front to rip trees and clear a path it’s able to run with far less manpower an fuel you don’t just float in a lake not how that works
