Grey heron hunting eels

A grey heron was hunting only eels in the lotus fields.
Just by watching, it had eaten seven in under an hour.
(I'm jealous... I'm surprised there are so many eels in the lotus fields.)
At the end, the eel it had swallowed once came out
but it swallowed it again and calmly returned home.

なるほど！蓮田にそんなにウナギが入り込むのかな～と思いましたがタウナギですか。
アオサギにウナギをたくさん食べられてもったいないと思いましたが
タウナギなら駆除してくれていると考えられますね😀。コメントありがとうございます。
