From what he said, he almost wanted to quit because he couldn't achieve or reach a certain something within the song when they were recording it. Though woozi liked how he sang it and he motivated him a lot during those times. 12:26 what surprises me the most with Joshua is that I accept the fact that he is a soft vocalist, nowhere near a power house. He probably struggles with the live vocals a lot. BUT then he does that. And the fact that his mouth is very closed makes it look like he is not doing it live. So effortless
Shua is indeed a soft vocalist if you compare it to DK or SK, but I don't think he struggles with singing live. I totally get what you mean that he barely seems like he opens his mouth and sings, but I think in my unprofessional opinion that just comes from a lot of training and that fact that he does it relatively easy. I heard some songs (eg 2 minus 1) when he does not go so much for falsetto and his voice is much more powerful and honestly beautiful.
You guys are my fav channel that review SEVENTEEN by far. They’re popular, but so under appreciated I’m so glad to see you guys enjoy their vocal ability most of all, DK’s voice especially touches the audience💖

Seungkwan absolutely excels with ballads! He's always been a more ballad-centric vocalist, which is evident in the songs he tends to cover. He just tends to get more of the high notes in svt songs. So i hope yall could react to some of his stuff too! Loved this vid ☺️

12:26 what surprises me the most with Joshua is that I accept the fact that he is a soft vocalist, nowhere near a power house. He probably struggles with the live vocals a lot. BUT then he does that. And the fact that his mouth is very closed makes it look like he is not doing it live. So effortless
Shua is indeed a soft vocalist if you compare it to DK or SK, but I don't think he struggles with singing live. I totally get what you mean that he barely seems like he opens his mouth and sings, but I think in my unprofessional opinion that just comes from a lot of training and that fact that he does it relatively easy.
I heard some songs (eg 2 minus 1) when he does not go so much for falsetto and his voice is much more powerful and honestly beautiful.
It's so funny how Melia's face just turn legit RED when she's praising DK's voice lol welcome to the club 🤗
