Henry went to a conservatory and also graduated in there so, people who go to conservatories are good musicians. I'm not sure but I think he studied on Berklee and that's good place to study too!
Nornally, the music skills that you learned in the past sticks in your memory, and your body quickly readjusts and remembers those skills that you acquired for many years. And this is surprising, but true, most partcularly in my case. I learned to play the guitar (plus another instrument) when I was in 3rd grade, besides being active in a local church choir. I played those instruments regularly for three years until finished grade 6. I proceeded to high school in another city, and became very busy with academics and school activities that I set aside playing the guitar for around 3 years. On my final year in high school, I was requested to do the guitar accompaninent (and sing) for the students choir for a big fundraising activity. I was tempted to shirk, avoid and reason out that I hadn't played the instrument for the past three years, yet when I obliged and held the guitar and started to play the chords, I was amazed at how everything seemed familiar and easy! My body had owned and automatically remembered the musical skills that I learned in grade school!
Was anyone else kind of grateful when he sucked at trumpet? I mean he's incredible and it would have been unfair if he was good at that too! Trumpet is not easy to play but I am impress that his first try on this instrument, he is able to play it. Henry is so talented. Omg... I started when I was 8, hahahaha. Still playing till now 😂

+Glip Glob It no wind instruments are harder because first off u have to use ur lungs so u cant breathe whenever u liked and u have to blow air and make ur mouth a certain way like flute u have to blow across making it one of the hardest instruments and saxophones theres a reed and trumpets make ur lips use muscles that theyve never used before
Oboe is one of the most hardest instruments out there because of its double reed and you have to have a strong pair of lungs to even blow like a half note

@@이지수-j8m1l 맞아요 저도 예전에 클라리넷했다가 친구 색소폰 뺏어서 해보니까 클라리넷은 힘을 80~90 준다치면 색소폰은 60~70만 힘을줘서 불어도 소리가 잘나더라고요,,, 악기 크기 자체가 달라서 그런가 여튼 클라리넷 불줄 알면 색소폰은 그냥 조금만 만져도 되는거같아요 헨리가 클라리넷까지 했는지는 모르겠지만요 😂
@@정송수-x8z 단소랑은 아예 다른거같아요 단소는 제가 부는 법을 몰라서,, 색소폰은 리드라고 작은 나무판때기를 마우스피스 그니까 입으로 공기넣는 곳에 따로 고정을 해놓고 나무판때기 통해서 소리를 내는거거든요 물고 앞니로 꽉 물고 입술로 나무판때기 붙잡고 불어야해요 이만하면 많이 다른 거 같아요😂
저 당시의 헨리가 얼마나 힘들었을지... 음악의 길은 미래가 안 보이고 예능에선 호된 고생을 해야만 했고.. 참고 견디며 자신의 음악을 펼칠 날을 기다리는 저 시기에 몸 고생 맘 고생했을 헨리를 생각하면 지금도 마음이 아프다. 그래도 저 시기에 인지도도 쌓고 그래서 이젠 누구나 알아보고 음악도 차츰 많이 알려져서 이제 새 음반을 내고 날개를 펼치는 헨리. 이젠 꽃길만 가자!!

As someone which played harp and percussion since 7 years old, saxophone 5 years ago and learnt trumpet from my orchestra friends. I find this video extremely entertaining. Im surprised that Henry had a relatively good correct embouchure for saxophone and knew to buzz when playing the trumpet (im not really good at trumpet). His snare hold was a bit off and too loose to roll with but its very supposing for someone which doesnt play these instruments to produce a pretty decent sound (ignoring tone).
Love how Henry did all that on a violin right after setting low expectations and my man is so stunned the best he can come up with is that was a good rhythm
Given that he was at Berklee I wouldn't be surprised if he's been exposed to the rest of the instruments before. It's normally one of those things that instructors always tell you not to do, but being a curious kid you always wanna try out the rest of your friend's instruments. Given that he plays Violin he would probably have been involved in an orchestra, where he would've had chance to try playing a trumpet, snare drum, cymbal. You could totally tell he played drums based on how he was holding the drumsticks.
But also he is a fast learner, the way he grasped what that man was doing with gongs so easily and figured out the melody on the sax (which he might have tried before, but not actually played). Anyway he didn’t hold the drumsticks properly, but he definitely had an idea how to...
The mass of random notes Henry played when he picked up the sax is exactly what I sound like with a violin, I play the cello, so it's transferable to any other string instrument, you just play around and figure out where the notes are first😊
I play guitar and I could figure out the some keys on the violin cause they were quite familiar but was more confusing cause there weren’t any frets. And also piano, simple songs like twinkle little star can be played on ther instruments if you have know to play one instrument. It’s just a matter of figuring out the notes.
I learned one thing from Henry sir. He is telling " I will try " it inspired me . After his try he played successfully. So. We have to try . If We don't know also we have to try just once then we know our talents

It is impossible for someone who has not been taught how to blow into a trumpet or saxophone to make a sound on the first try. The techniques are very specific and no matter how much of a "genius" you are you can¨t do it. This is literally impossible. I get that the saxophone was similar to the recorder but the trumpet cant be explained. When playing the trumpet you need to do really specific things with your breathing and lips for sound to be produced.

George Pantzikis he didn’t said that he never played it before. i’m sure he has blown in one before but he said he never learned how to play the instrument as in getting lessons. and it isn’t impossible. i’ve been in a school band and i was able to make a sound with my trumpet the first time i blowed into it.

그 클라리넷 마우스 피스랑 가장 비슷한게 색소폰 마우스피스라서 그런 걸거에요 제가 클라리넷을 연주하는데 색소폰 하던 오빠가 클라리넷 되게 잘하거든요

저냥그냥 단소는 약한 바람으로도 소리가 나고 입술에 대면서 부는데 그런 거는 플룻과 비슷하고 클라리넷과 색소폰은 마우스피스가 있고 거기에 리드라는 얇은 막대기를 꽉 물고 복식호흡으로 불어야 되요
쟤는 뭘해도 성공할듯

Shandel Stevens He was holding it with a concert cymbal grip, while the stuff he was doing should be done with marching grip.
As someone which played harp and percussion since 7 years old, saxophone 5 years ago and learnt trumpet from my orchestra friends. I find this video extremely entertaining. Im surprised that Henry had a relatively good correct embouchure for saxophone and knew to buzz when playing the trumpet (im not really good at trumpet). His snare hold was a bit off and too loose to roll with but its very supposing for someone which doesnt play these instruments to produce a pretty decent sound (ignoring tone).

Given that he was at Berklee I wouldn't be surprised if he's been exposed to the rest of the instruments before. It's normally one of those things that instructors always tell you not to do, but being a curious kid you always wanna try out the rest of your friend's instruments. Given that he plays Violin he would probably have been involved in an orchestra, where he would've had chance to try playing a trumpet, snare drum, cymbal. You could totally tell he played drums based on how he was holding the drumsticks.
You can tell he's tried it before but the way he's holding the sticks besides the thumb and forefinger is not very good.
I agree, but the way he held the sticks were a bit... off. I mean he's just trying it out, but the way he played the cymbals made me cry.
But also he is a fast learner, the way he grasped what that man was doing with gongs so easily and figured out the melody on the sax (which he might have tried before, but not actually played). Anyway he didn’t hold the drumsticks properly, but he definitely had an idea how to...
he knows how to play the drums because he produces music, so he uses those electric drums to produce the beats
He was the band's drummer when he was in high school,I think in the TV show he just played it for fun.

The mass of random notes Henry played when he picked up the sax is exactly what I sound like with a violin, I play the cello, so it's transferable to any other string instrument, you just play around and figure out where the notes are first😊
So if you play the piano you can figure out how to play the Melodica, keytar, accordion, cembalo and other key instruments. ❤️🎶👍😊
I play guitar and I could figure out the some keys on the violin cause they were quite familiar but was more confusing cause there weren’t any frets. And also piano, simple songs like twinkle little star can be played on ther instruments if you have know to play one instrument. It’s just a matter of figuring out the notes.

It is impossible for someone who has not been taught how to blow into a trumpet or saxophone to make a sound on the first try. The techniques are very specific and no matter how much of a "genius" you are you can¨t do it. This is literally impossible. I get that the saxophone was similar to the recorder but the trumpet cant be explained. When playing the trumpet you need to do really specific things with your breathing and lips for sound to be produced.

George Pantzikis he didn’t said that he never played it before. i’m sure he has blown in one before but he said he never learned how to play the instrument as in getting lessons. and it isn’t impossible. i’ve been in a school band and i was able to make a sound with my trumpet the first time i blowed into it.
