To me, this is the most beautiful bike. The engineers and designers achieved perfection. Emtb's version of the '61 Jaguar E-Type

There are places in Europe (like here in Bavaria, fortunately) where you cannot go off-road everywhere with a motorbike. Whereas with a bicycle, there are no restrictions in woods and forests. Besides, you can't do DH with a motorbike like you can with this Bike.
Rob, put some thin anti draft door/window foam between the battery cover and frame to prevend ratteling of the battery and snugger fit.

So much CNC. It's almost too shiny :D And finally some Hope breaks! Using the Tech4 on 2 bikes as well. Incredible brakes, performance and modulation!

This Alu frame is absolutely Amazing. And the components too, great combination. I've been cycling for decades and since MTBs didn't exist yet, I appreciate carbon frames (one of my road bikes has it) but off-road and especially in DH, a frame like this is absolutely better.
Then the fixing of the drive unit, it's really nice 👍

Would love to see how the frame was machined - even the best multi axis CNC machines can't mill out the hollow shells of the frame components, so I suspect the complex tubes are machined in halves and then welded together.
Just watched the other video about how the pieces are made - fascinating, how the halves are bonded together than machined - I would have thought that bonding metals together without welding or even stir welding would not be strong enough.

Pole's frame aesthetic is definitely not my style, but this bike turned out sexy as hell. Love the raw aluminium color and orange accents. And the video, although without any commentary, was a pleasure to watch. Nicely done!

You can do as many build videos as you want Rob. Great video, I agree with the guy below about the looks of the voima, but you can't deny its still one hell of a bike
I have mine to It is amazing. Taking it to Ride Southern Spain in Sept but without battery as all uplifts. Got a 3d printed battery cover so I can take a baguette with me😊
You put that video together very well; had really good flow. Learned quite a bit watching you make that bike whole. Like your stem length and riser bars btw 👍
Your shorts video just pop-up and made me want to know more about this bike. The craft is so amazing and profile on the body highlight its cnc character. 🤤
Probably the best video on the internet. Lol. I like your taste, Rob. Raw aluminum, no protection, no black pole decals. Just pure industrial looking bike. That's exactly how I would prefer it too.

First of all it looks like a K2, is it?
What type of headset is that? It looks like a works components. Did you change the head angle a bit?
Is the absence of black decals an option? I mean, are they stickers or factory painted?

Great piece of engineering. Not my cup of tea but I very much admire the engineering that's gone into producing this frame. For some reason I hate the bulky head and the overhang it has over the fork crown.
They reduced that on the new one. It’s narrower and doesn’t stick out as far.
There is nothing more rewarding then build up your dream ride from the ground up 😍

I bought an aluminium frame mountain bike and was disheartened after hearing it said that they aren’t the best choice for ebike conversion because of possibly causing cracks in the frame but after watching this I think I’ll go ahead with the conversion

There's something about Pole's geometry that I absolutely love, in a very similar way to Mondraker's Foxy and Superfoxy, maybe the top tube and down tube's angles.

That CNC'd bike is in a league of its own.
If only they put woven carbon atop cf bikes for the same aesthetically pleasing affect.. carbon weaves and CNC tooling marks...both make me want to impregnate a bike.

I really wish I could demo one here in California . . . I want one so bad but I just can't bring myself to spend the money without throwing a leg over it first. I'm a major proponent of the try before you buy rule, especially with purchases this big. So I'll have to just choose between the Evil Epocalypse Transition Repeater or Ibis Oso. My buddy has an Oso and I've gotten to ride it quite a bit, there's four different shops here in the Bay area that are licensed transition dealers so I'll be able to catch them on a demo day pretty easily. now I just need to find a demo day for Evil. I know multiple riding buddies who have a Following as there quiver killer but no one with an Epocalypse yet
I thought this bike was like 40 thousand USD when I saw the short. It looks like a bike that would cost that much. It's expensive, but not as high dollar as I thought. This bike is absolutely gorgeous

Up to 8k Euro is a very big price for a bike, but I like the full CNC carved frame. If I win 1kk Euro in Lotto I will buy one :)
As there is a swing-arm rather than a triangle it should be easy to put a belt on this bike.
Amazing mechanic skills on show! I loved the Pole machine but the swingarm design on this model is very marmite - looks like a polished Orange. Still, amazing engineering and the machined aluminium is stunning.
Slicker than snot on a log. Only downside is the key for battery removal.
Rob, the point of greasing a bolt is that the grease covers the whole interface of the surface, not just a little bit of it! 😂
