How to turn on caption automatically on YouTube video permanently | turn on subtitle on YouTube|2021

Sometimes we feel that we need to see subtitle under the video because many videos sound quality is not well enough to understand or sometimes translation of non native language being required to watcha video. My settings do not have playback and performance in the settings menu. I use the RUclips app, and have to turn on captions for every video that I open. I is a real pain, because I don’t hear well, and the extra step of turning captions on gets old really fast.
