Video of Kandahar meeting prior to attack that left senior Afghan leaders dead

(19 Oct 2018) Afghanistan was reeling on Friday, a day after an audacious Taliban attack targeting the top US commander in the country at a meeting in Kandahar province left two senior Afghan officials dead.
Thursday's meeting in Kandahar city, on security plans for this weekend's parliamentary elections, had just concluded when an elite Afghan guard turned his gun on the departing Afghan delegation.
The powerful Kandahar police chief, Abdul Raziq, and at least one other senior Afghan official were killed.
A Taliban spokesman said the top US commander in the country, General Scott Miller, had been the target.
He escaped unharmed.
However, a senior US army official who attended the meeting said Raziq, was clearly the target, not the US general.
The delegates had just gathered for a group photo when gunfire broke out inside the provincial governor's compound in Kandahar city, according to an AP television cameraman who was there.
Everyone scattered, and the US participants scrambled toward their helicopter.
But a firefight broke out between the US service members and Afghan police when they tried to stop the US delegation from reaching their helicopter, according to the cameraman.
Besides Raziq, Kandahar's intelligence chief, Abdul Mohmin, was killed in the attack, according to the deputy provincial governor.
He also said Kandahar Governor Zalmay Wesa died after being taken to a hospital, but security officials in the capital, Kabul, maintained Wesa was wounded but survived.
Three Americans - a US service member, a coalition contractor and an American civilian - were wounded and in a stable condition, according to a NATO spokesman.
The attack, more than 17 years after the Taliban were driven from power, underscores the harrowing insecurity in Afghanistan ahead of Saturday's elections.

Have goverment investigated raziq case first question , when American officers goes to meeting or visit they take security in own hands because they don,t belive afghan forces , then how a miller saved and general raziq targeted ? After that in meeting raziq and americans are shouted against each other and raziq walkout for some time , and the shooter was afgani trained in afgan academy ? This is internal issue which is not investigated truly , ashraf ghani directly blame on niebor which is wrong and closed the eyes from true investigation ?
