- First cold week, when the temp got below 0deg... But was still a busy week of low water dredging, motor over heating, holes in the hull and all the other drama that goes with dredging.

Yeah mate Jimmy's pies ...love them. Your lease looks like it runs through Alexandria. Hope you hit another rich spot this summer. I've dropped my opal mining leases and am about to prospect the gold fields between Bathurst and Mudgee over here in OZ. Would love nothing better to get back over there and do some of the areas around Cromwell....but I gotta say I don't miss the cold that much. Good luck you guys... you deserve it.
Are you guys still dredging and making videos? I really like the modifications and constant improvement you guys do to your sluice boxes, so I’m curious on what the latest iteration is. I’m up in Alaska and I’m building a home built 6 inch dredge, currently leaning towards a double screen design I saw Pro-Mack did on an 8 inch. Though, I might simplify it down to a single screen like Keene does on their Super Max. Anyways, keep up the good work, and hope to see more videos in the future.
Hey, we still have a claim, just been away for a while, floods, viruses, etc has kepts us away.. single screen is the way to go, found the double screen blocks to easily.

Have stopped dredging full time, to focus on my family.. being away all the time takes a toll... But will be back up next season...

What was the putty you used on the floats please and great idea using air line to pump water out and find leak ill remember that one. so you double wetsuit instead of an hot water setup ??
Its a product I found here on you tube, think its call splash zone, used for patching boat hulls.. the wet suits we use don't need hot water, but we do have hot water on the dredge, as it normally colder out of the water, and its great to use hot water to do a clean up in... Nelly wears a cheap second 3/4 suit to protect his wetsuit..

Does the heat exchanger block up regularly?
i had to redo it as the rod i use last time was a bit thin, the other over heat we had last time was due to a broken belt...
