What if the line is fussy bouncing around and it’s right under near the sr20

can u advise what the compass will show if there is a TEE Junction

Tee junction for galvanized and copper pipes will show a bend in the pipe and tracer will loose the line. You should relocated the line after searching on both sides of the Tee
