Yale is my absolute dream school and it really made me happy that it is such a great school. I was worried that the teachers wouldn’t be nice and the environment would be bad but I’m glad my worries got lifted. Thank you for posting this. Really relieved a lot of anxiety.
Yale is a great school but studying in this kind of schools doesn’t come cheap, as a student your financial capabilities are limited to your guardians or in other case student loans. Starting up a side investment can be very helpful and would take the burdens of debts and the financial struggles of been a student away.
I remembered my days back in university of Columbus I was faced with lots of students loan. Which set me back a lot on debt even after been a graduate.

I went to see New Haven (mostly the immediate area around Yale) and I fell in love with it even more. I know that the chances of getting in are very low but I am still applying just in case. Also, the Yale study spaces are 10/10.

Anna Reynoso like you said, all of the support systems that they have available for their students. The surrounding area is also great, I got to talk to a lady at Dunkin Donuts and we talked about hiking spots in the surrounding area.

I am currently a tenth grader but I have already started practicing for my SAT(We take that in grade 12) and looking for colleges I really want enter Yale but I feel people from Africa aren't really there and I kinda feel I'll be odd
My dream is Yale too, and you may be from Africa, but Yale is very diverse and race doesn’t matter! What matters if you’re smart enough and talented enough to be able to attend Yale. You are worth just as much as anyone, and work hard and you’ll be able to get anything in life. Good luck!
One thing that definitely pushed me to want to apply to yale in contrast to other Ivy leagues is due to their consistent advertisement that they genuinely care for the students rather than their money. I'm not dirt poor, but paying the school's actual worth for 4 years would drive me into debt immediately!! Their guarantee to cover tuition is insanely refreshing 😭
ouufff, good question. i’m prolly not the best to ask cuz i don’t have a lot of experience w/ that. it might not be overwhelmingly common, but it’s definitely possible! i think it mainly depends on which 2 majors you wanna declare (that is, if you’re able to fulfill all of the pre-reqs and reqs for both of them during your four years while, ya know, maintaining your sanity)
