Going to make this right now. I was going to do another one, she used hot glue though and I really don't like hot glue. Thanks for showing the sewing version!
+Megan Rivera Thank you! If you have access to a sewing machine, you should totally try to learn how to sew! :) I learned a lot through the internet(back before RUclips!), haha.
Hey Chez! Thanks for the great vid, i have been wondering how to make hats out of sweaters since I saw an etsy store sell one for $33+ 😲 needless to say this tutorial makes me want to make one before it starts heavily snowing! I was wondering though, how would one augment your design to make a slouchy cap instead? Thank you!
+sujurean Thank you! :) I found that if I don't fold the ribbing up the hats have a slouchy look. I like how that looks for the pom pom hat (you can see me wearing it like that in the video a little bit). You could make them a tad bit wider too, so they fit more loosely, but you have to be careful about doing that because you want to make sure it still fits on your head :)
+chezlin ah i see! Yeah i noticed the pom pom hat had a good amount of slouch to it but it laid kind of like a santa hat. I noticed before if you flattened a slouchy hat that it sort of has a baloon shape, kind of bulbus at thetop and narrower where you slip it on your head. I'll do some experimentations and let you know how it turns out :D
I like this pattern. I just tried it using Blue jeans, I was going to add a Tshirt liner. However it came out too tight. So if anyone else decides to do it actually add an inch or two because blue jean material doesn't give.
I like the way you made the Beanie hat. I will make mine like that .Thanks for sharing!

That pom pom hat is SO CUTE! I wish I was crafty and knew how to sew, I'd love to make that!
