Props to the kid for knowing CPR👏👏👏
👏👏👏
he actually learnt something useful
But those are bad chest compressions, they have to be way deeper than that
@@hellolife3420 plus the speed of the compressions… sheesh😂😂😂
fr
That fact that his brother knows what he had to do before they got here
Legend 🙏
She's right, ribs often do get injured during CPR, especially when you have to perform it for long periods or on kids who have small bodies. However, a few broken ribs is nothing when the patient is faced with death. If I were a parent I'd rather my kid come out with a few broken ribs and be alive than have no broken ribs and be dead.
Broken Rib | No Pulse
It's not hard to see which of these is worse, and yet there are still idoits who sue others for giving CPR
I remember that scene where Dr. Reese broke the ribs of a patient, she was on shock for that
@@wil-fri yeah, but he didn’t sue.
ribs heal, like all bones do
Now, sometimes the actual bone of the rib will crack while doing CPR, but that's usually related to one of two things: Improper hand placement generally to the left or the right of the sternum. If you're not centered directly on the sternum, pressure from your hands can easily snap a rib or two.
looks like there will be a future paramedic!😂
That mum really annoyed me. They know what they are doing !!
Omg That mom was crazy at least her son survived I prey for him😢😢
Nonsense
It’s a show
@@Overyvonne Based on reality.
WTF mum they know what to do.
I do we dare judging how someome is suppose to react. It's hard but shock will do crazy things to someone.
I’m sure you’d also freak out if the paramedic working on your kid blatantly said “I popped his lung”
Funny how in a tv show they can immediately tell it's a heart attack when in real life they would have to do certain tests to confirm it IS a heart attack
Did they even confirmed it was a heart attack and not something else wrong with his heart.
Chicago Fire is the best!👍🚒👨🚒🚑
Hell yeah buuuut this is just a show
Wish I learned something like that in health class. At least I know the heimlich.
This is all take up very good
Doctors have to break your ribs when doing CPR in order to reach the heart and help it pump
Remember the good old times when chicago fire actually used to be about fires
Pretty sure the paramedics have done rescues like that since season 1, and they respond to at least one fire/chemical/person-in-distress incident every episode. Also you cannot have a show like that & not include drama about their personal lives. What more do you want?
nope its been this way since season 1
Chicago fire is the name of the department, but the department includes ambulance as well, and firefighters don’t only deal with fires
They always had storylines focusing on the paramedics, I mean this is a clip from an episode in 2016 so

Cpr is looking so fake. But yeah. Fact. Show your kids how to dial 911, teach them about first aid stuff early enough. Just them being able to call 911 will give them the possibility to send help.
I refresh my first aid course every two years (that's kind of standard here in Germany if you wanna have the position of the first aid help at work here) and it just feels good to be sure I know what to do when there's an emergency
Its extremely dangerous to do real cpr on people that don't need it, so shows don't risk it and do the really fake looking kind instead
@@quetzalcoa Exactly right. As the show implied here, real CPR can cause broken ribs and internal organ damage, even when done perfectly. Risking an actor's life for the sake of showing real CPR would be unethical, criminal and just not worth it.
Exactly, bro is just rubbing his brothers chest
Same goes for Canada, You can get your official licence when your in high school (Provided you get the right passing grade and did the physical test.) and almost all high schools made the unit for first aid mandatory to take. Additionally after that, you can get the Licence renewed every two years as its beneficial for work if an accident were to occur.
@@graememacleod4651 If only studio magic and editing was a thing....hmmmm
Thank god dawnson and Brett saved him.
T. F. I
@@djanfardabdoumkandaa7772 what does that mean
It wasn't god who saved that boy, it was the paramedics who saved his life. Thank them
Its fake
@@lucianocrimefamily4880 I know but it seems pretty real to me.
Ey so this is very shocking and if I was walking past I would do all types of CPR because we learn it in school.
Holy moly
Cool and all but the chest compressions from the paramedic were horrible
believe it or not they cant actually perform cpr on a living actor
@@zipzenn then they have to work on their camera angles 😂 those looked really fake haha I've seen better
It’s only a show, they’re at home laughing at you 😂
It is a show, but it's generally what you are supposed to when a child looks small in general and does not have a body of a teenager or adult.
There are enough shows that make it look realistic and even her posture was very bad. Yeah, it's a show but why not complain about their inaccuracy if they make it look so serious and realistic
i haven't seen this episode
The kid played with my head?! 😂
I am a 🏀 after all or that's what people keep saying 😅
😨 My God, I thought minors don't get a heart attack.
That's a misconception, while it's rarer in younger people it's still completely possible even in infants.
@@jaydejots1674i remwmbwr going to the hospital for a routine check and seeing a bunch of pediatrich run down past me because a baby was having a heart attack
The mom is the same actress who plays Deputy Commissioner Hill in Season 9 & 10
IS HE GOING TO DIE OR BE ALIVE?!?!

Dose anyone like Chicago fire cause I do wirte it underneath my comment
He was doing CPR wrong it has to be 2 inches deep and hard
Yeah if you want to kill the actor!
