If there isn’t a 3rd gen option yet I’ll just wait for one but my daughter needs this back there 100%. Your design is intuitive and dope af. Allowing the user/customer to acquire their own hardware rather than forcing them to purchase from you is definitely going to earn you copious amounts of good karma. Keep at it bro 💪💪
HAHA, unfortunately not completely. The 3rd gen will require some riv nuts but stand by though as this is going to be translated to the 3rd gen as well!
Nice Karl!!! (Spell it right?) I’ve always wanted the rack to go from front to back so I can mount my GMRS or CB/ coms gear there. Can’t wait for that!!!
Hi Bill, the side mounting points already have threaded holes for the 2nd gen. If yours doesn't have the threaded holes, then yes, you can certainly use riv nuts. You'll need M6-1 Threads
What did you kind of bolt did you put in the square holes behind the grab handles? I figure t-slot bolts?? Oh I just saw the dates. I guess the second gen has bolts in place. I made mine work with a t slot bolt on a 22
Dude, yea let me know how that works out for you. Send me an email and I'll give you a discount code. I don't have a 3rd gen without a sunroof among my local friends to test out.

@@KFloTacoma Sweet! For the FJ, it would really make sense for something that attaches in the front, where the visors are. Either across or in the center going back. Because there's already a molle that goes in between the OS handles. Thanks!

Yessir! I'm very excited with that design project!
can you use a riv nut to fasten the side panels?

The second gen already has threaded holes (M6-1) behind the grab handles. There was only a spacer between the molle panel and the ceiling
@@KFloTacoma that’s what I figured. You could make it work for the 3rd gen with T-slot bolts. I think I want to try yours and see if it works

So, we still have to bend it to the right angles?
Yes, 4 bends in total
What it this for ???
