This is such a refreshing and stunning cover of "Flashlight". Lee Suhyun is an amazing singer and part of the group "AKMU" with great songs in South Korea as well.
She's amazing... I'm speechless.

Past 25 years she has sung many genres besides gospel/CCM and English diva songs: hip hop with TAW, HaHa, San E; Mandarin folk-pop of Theresa Teng; crossover (The Prayer, A Love Until End of Time); many Disney songsin addition to Moana; Maria in Sound of Music; and her own pop songs are varied and nice (Someday, Way Home, Stay).
Really beautiful this duet, Suhyun is also a good singer she sings some duets with Henry the song I like is Perfect by Andrea Bocelli and Ed Sheeran, Henry and Suhyun give it a bit of their own twist but absolutely pleasant to hear.

Su-hyeon said she saw Sohyang and fell in love immediately and sung Sohyang's song when she was only elementary school student. And finally they met and did duet together😁 Su-hyeon said it was her dream and it came real. They sound like two beautiful birds sing along with.
This is a stunning perf as are so many from Begin Again Korea. But, yes I 💯 agree you should do what’s needed to prevent being blocked in S. Korea!
Fyi .. If you’re a Pro you can easily sing sitting. Notice all that do .. keep their abdomen & back straight. Again tho you’re right, you must be tech proficient to pull it off ;-) .. THX’s loved your reaction! ✌️
Sohyang also did a duet with Shin Yong Jae and the song was made by Lee Suhyun's brother, other part of AKMU....BTW when Sohyang have to belt higher notes she does have to stand up like when she sang bb2 in Day Day where she rap and belt....
Sohyang (professor) + Soohyun (student) duet is the best!!

The leaning forward actually helps. I heard a vocal coach speak on that, it aids some muscles so when she leans forwards its to gives her some extra support.
I find it impressive when great singers like So Hyang can do it whilst sitting down :)

The cover versions of flashlights of TNT Boys is so amazing.. They are feom Philippines.
Did you react to Day-Day from BAK yet? Sohyang and Lee Suhyun interact well on there, but it involves the entire group. It's also a completely different style as in you will be amazed at what Sohyang does in that performance.
BAK performances were about comfort but also just about feeling happy, so many of the songs are light hearted, not huge and emotional. It also wasn't a contest like some of her other big numbers so she isn't being judged. If you check out Sohyang's interviews she is a very chatty funny person. To me this type of song is far more how she really is.
Edit: Day-Day is the rapping :D Not to be missed. ^_^

@@DancingCoder hi dancing not 100% but another regular begin again youtuber that puts all begin again performances from usa said that jtbc had lifted the copyrights recently except for those living in korea,,all her rebroadcast don't seem blocked... but double check of course

Great reaction. I just subscribed. Yes, Suhyun is a star in her own right in South Korea. Also Lena Park, from US and Korea is a real talent. You should check her songs out from the Korean BeginAgain Concerts including her incredible cover of Chandelier in Verona, Italy, with Henry on (I think keyboard) and Suhyun singing backup. Amazing! Thanks for sharing the incomparable Sohyang with us!
