    Favorite video(s) by far was your Adventures of Young CGB series! You started it right as I tried getting back into MTG via Arena and was a great series to watch and keep my interest in the game going, especially seeing you progress on that account and release those videos as I was also starting my own F2P journey! Was very excited seeing episodes of that series released, and hope to even potentially see the series that kept me into MTG return! :)

    My favorite MTG video was your video when you were using the “#1 mythic deck” with Muldrotha as the thumbnail and the deck box cover. You opened the deck and it was RDW with one Muldrotha in it and you preceded to say “how’d that get there?” And remove the Muldrotha. 10/10 meme and made me burst out laughing

    My favorite Mtg video is of course, the goblin deck video you made for me after I spammed your comment sections a few times. My favorite magic the gathering RUclips video was your Kiora lotus field combo deck video. I was in the market for a new patreon creator, one of my old ones stopped posting. I had been a viewer since your video using Illhurg, Raze Boar, but I never subscribed until today. I'm out of surgery, so I was a little high on the pain meds they gave me, and the Lotus field video was fantastic, you were having fun and being a little silly, then when you said BEEFCAKE I thought of southpark and almost died laughing. I have since watched 2 more of your videos, supported you on patreon, and joined your discord. Surgery sucks, my leg hurts, but you have made this day great so thank you for that.

    I don't want the gift card (I live outside the US), I just want to say that the Golgari Prison Land Destruction video of yours is my favourite magic video. God damn, from that back and forth second game to the third when you misclicked and locked the opponent from doing anything with the Experimental Frenzy, and then you Spyglassed it so he couldn't even sacrifice it. It was just magnificent - best magic video ever.

    My favorite video was probably your Mr 'Steal Yo lands' video. Land destruction is always a hilariously enjoyable deck to play/watch, but when you are able to steal and use the lands at a faster mana curve and a more consistent rate than a destruction deck, it is just more satisfying (and just hilarious).

    My favorite video of yours was a recent one playing the Standard "Tron" deck where you locked the Mono-Red opponent out of their hand and out of using/sacrificing Experimental Frenzy so they could essentially do nothing on their turn. Your joy and glee at this moment was fun to watch and the feelings were mutual having played so many mono-red opponents myself and understanding the mono-red hate! Thanks for solid content!

    My favorite MTG Arena RUclips video was from your test account right before WAR released, specifically the Bolas Superfriends deck. I love Planeswalker-heavy decks and it was awesome to see you hit the Bolas-Jace Infinite combo and achieve Bolas’ ult, all in your very first game with the deck.

    Hard to pick one video, but a moment that will always stay with me is from one of the Hakumites, when you were losing against Thopters (I think it was Hakeem's deck that would eventually go to win the whole thing?) and your only out was to topdeck Radiant Flames. You held out until the last possible second, eventually going for the long shot of using your last removal on blowing up Hakeem's own Runed Servitor instead of an artifact lord, finding the sweeper to wipe the board. I never played a Runed Servitor again after seeing that.
    How's that for a deep pull? Sadly I don't think that's archived, but perhaps you remember what I'm talking about? :)

    My favorite video, and this could be bias because you just released it the other day, would have to be the CGB goes pro video where you really brought us in and showed us the deeper level of thinking and strategy. For example what cards may be in hand figuring out win cons and going over your sideboard strategy and why it’s important to miss and match specific cards for a specific match up. However my favorite part is how you present the game of magic that makes it competitive but enjoyable -and easy to listen to in any situation whether I’m watching or listening in a podcast setting as you describe what’s happening very well. Overall I just love your content, and it has personally made magic easier to understand and has helped my approach going into games learn how to predict instead of always reacting to an extent. Thanks CGB, you’re the goat.

    I changed my mind. This video is my new favorite. It's almost like one of those really satisfying videos. I couldn't look away, the reparativeness of the combo was therapeutic. That was great. 100% trying this on paper lol. You know your opponent waited the game out due to the trance the combo put them in. It was great keep up your good work man.

    LVD made a video of him playing against a really top tier opponent. On his own turn, he would go through his thoughts, what he thought his opponent was holding, what his opponent was playing around. On his opponent's turn, he cropped some video/audio from that guy's stream, which showed what his opponent actually had and what he was thinking. It was a high level gameplay video, but also seeing both sides was great. They weren't on discord together or anything, it was a regular meeting on the ladder

    My favorite video is your Golgari Prison Land Destruction deck by far. The second game of that video is the best game I have seen played period! The game was a rollercoaster of a game with you looking like you had the game locked up....... and then came Zacama. You somehow managed to get yourself out of that mess and then came.......the Agent of treachery. I thought it was over after they took your Crucible of Worlds but you managed to turn it into an Ox! What?????? Star of Extinction countered by you blowing up your own Blast zone and finally finishing the game with Spy Glass lethal! Epic.

    FWIW, I sincerely feel obligateded to choose this very video as my favorite Magic video on RUclips, as of 10 minutes ago! I was going to leave a comment mentioning Mogwai's "AKForty-Celebrant" video, showing off a brew he made around Bolas's Citadel, Priest of the Forgotten Gods, Cruel Celebrant, a deck idea I became obsessed with for a peiod.
    However (!), after watching this video in it's entirety, there is no doubt that this takes the cake. As in, I may be in need of a shrink due to feelings of infatuation for this deck on a possibly unhealthy level.
    Hyperbole aside (nice save, me!), I loved every second of watching you complete the combo, with the playback at normal speed for the full duration, mind you. After all, you gotta savor that juxtaposition of clever, effective abuse of mechanics and unexpected janktastic memery. This deck is simultaneously disgusting and beautiful...the work of an inspired/disturbed poet/genius!
    P.S. You piloted it quite well, despite a couple of totally understandable slip-ups, given the strangeness of the deck.

    The video that resonated with me the most was a red/ blue paradoxical outcome deck featured on mtg goldfish with saffron olive. Between how how fast the deck could turn a corner to how it could tempo the opponent out of a win had me at the edge of my seat. Even saffron olive playing was surprised at its power in the late kaladesh standard. That video had more ups and downs than the mind eraser in elitches gardens six flags. That deck alone got me into combo decks and even into playing jhoira in commander. Also on a side note I love your content and always look forward to the new brews and competitive play. Keep it up.

    Fave Video would be Frank Karsten breaking down a Brad Nelson vs BBD match where BBD got crazy unlucky to lose. It is not only funny but is a great teaching to in terms of how variance works and why you should not let things like mana screw/ hose or just not drawing what you need to tilt you and impact on your confidence in your abilities.

    I didn't think you were going to pull that off against Scapeshift, and then I was hoping you'd go for the damage. I thought you could do it, but I'm glad you got the win. As for whether or not you should be more proficient with the decks... I think most people would like to see you doing well. I, personally, like to see you learning a deck. Seeing everyone on RUclips playing well can be disheartening. It's nice to see people make mistakes and to grow and learn from it. It also allows us to see how you make your decisions while learning which is helpful. BUT, I really think most people just want to see good game play.
    And, oh, I appreciate the things you come up with during your downtime. ESPECIALLY references to some of my favorite movies. Goddamn Romero was a genius.

After seeing that video I had to download arena! When I first saw Ali Eldrazi's Chromatic black deck, that really blew my mind as to how magic can be played. A bit late to the party, but my favourite mtg youtube video is probably the Unstable pre-prerelease, thanks to the legendary match of Wedge vs Cameron, in which Wedge used Better Than One to bring MaRo in as a teammate, and subsequently use Spike, Tournament Grinder to obtain and play a copy of Shaharazad. When Wedge asked for the Shaharazad you could actually see Cameron's mind and soul simultaneously bluescreen.

    lol, it's nice to see you stumble through learning a new deck once in a while, reminds me that you had to start out just like the rest of us.

    I couldn’t find the link for the video, so I apologize for that... However... My favorite MTG video is from Tolerian Community College. It was a video about why he started playing MTG, how distanced he once was, how it brought him to a community... and, essentially... Changed his life for the better. That video really hit me, personally, because it was what I felt when I started. I felt like I belonged to something far greater then just a game.

    Hello CGB,
    I wanted to leave u a comment anyway last thursday about the terrible day you had playing the Izzards deck. It was your best video because even when you are having a hrad time you manage to remain composed, funny and able to teach lots of stuff about Magic. Thank you and hang in there even if you are having a bad day not just in the arena but even in life in general. We all have those. We keep on trucking and pull through. Best of luck and I really wish to see you as a full time content creator. All the best.

    This deck was designed by a streamer named ElvenCloud, the Czech guys took the combo added Urza's blast and went to town on the MCQ. The original decklist is posted here. www.streamdecker.com/deck/BYcMsrniT

    I love a lot of magic videos but one of my faves is Day9 and Brian Kiblers highlights for What the Deck, where Brian hits 8 Mirror March flips in a row lol. Just all out janky hilarious fun

    I liked most of the video so far, where you had an idea that worked in your head, but not in reality! Other youtubers would not have given the nakedness and did not upload it. You know what shows that you can also laugh well about yourself and have enough self-confidence to endure!

    My favorite mtg video was any of your decks when you got nothing but mono red as an opponent! Watching you sigh against the inevitable frenzy wins or pulling it out at 1 life either way was the best drama. Best moment ever is when you misclicked on grafdiggers cage from a karn wish then realized it was the frenzy solution!

    My favorite video is definitely your Dimir Agent video. I've been using Muldrotha, Vilis, and Agent for funsies. Also Embodiment of Agonies w/ Stitcher's Supplier. I've played a TON of variants of the deck.
    I even got to steal ALL the lands of a mono-red player twice in Bo3.

    Honestly I watch at x2 (or x1.75 usually) because otherwise magic players talking through their plays feels so slow - we know the game, making the connections between intention and effect takes much less time than speech, so the ability to make the narrative go at closer to brain speed is a blessing.
    Also it’s fun hearing people with deep voices speaking at chipmunk speed. Turbo Merchant say is amazing.

    Favorite video is definitely your "BEST WINS EVER | Golgari Prison Land Destruction". The game against Scapeshift had so many memorable moments, such as when your Crucible of Worlds got stolen and restolen several times, having to turn the other players threats into Ox, and sacrificing the blast zone when targeted by the Star of Extinction, and the lethal Sorcererous Spyglass at the end. The next game had the best moment, that misclick that resulted in getting Grafdiggers Cage and shutting down Experimental Frenzy (and their whole deck) on accident.

    My favorite mtg youtube vid is MTG Arena Original Decks-Hyper cancer, because it is hilarious and jank... As far as your vids go, I love to watch you actually playing to rank up. But I have little income and your insights into f2p have helped my deckbuilding with limited resources immensely. Tuning azure flyers helped me craft a janky deck that got me to gold 1 and is my favorite vid!
    I love your jank. I love watching your meta battles as well, but in those cases, I wanna see the best!

      Well yes but there is no deck other then post sideboard esper control that play ashiok in top tier.

    • @jasonm.6442
      @jasonm.6442 5 лет назад +1

      @@janmika4245 not for long... :D This deck is built around 2 specific creatures, so I imagine any deck with sufficient creature hate should be able to shut it down, no? Simic flash comes to mind, grixis control, dimir, etc. Also azorius fliers, mono green and maybe boros feather can be fast enough if the Mox Ambers aren't near the top I imagine.

    • @janmika4245
      @janmika4245 5 лет назад +1

      @@jasonm.6442 Well yeah ofc every deck in this meta is capable of beating every deck in this meta (with some win/loose percentage) then it depends on your skill and skill of your opponent and ofc your luck and luck of your opponent. Currently this deck is new so there are not many answers to it yet in maindecks and sideboards but that will change soon I guess. I would say jeskai control (which is not even top tier now wtf) is the deck with most answers to this I mean instant speed lava coil (with teferi 3 on battlefield) + shock can shut it down basically on spot. Hand disruption decks are/will also (be) pretty good against this as you can just take a look at the hand take hidden hand and opponent will have to wait to get another also most of your permanents are legendary so ruinous blast is pretty bad. Soo I guess it is just a regular top tier deck for now it is not something ground breaking but still it is nice that 4c decks can compete in this meta.

    • @janmika4245
      @janmika4245 5 лет назад +1

      @@jasonm.6442 But there is a reason why this deck is great. You can and will go from absolute "loose situation" to "hah you just died situation" in 1 turn for example your opponent is mono red he has full hand of burn you are at one life but he is tapped down and you have nothing on field you are at turn 10 you didn't miss a single land drop and your hand and graveyard are full. This situation would look bad for most of the decks but for this (and for perfectly settled up jeskai storm which is not even top tier lol).

    Decks like these are why I got into magic. You really do have to have a lot of time to go through each of the cards and find the best interactions to be able to come up with a deck quite like this though. Shame it's gonna rotate before I have nearly enough wildcards to think about playing it.

  • @acidburn021281

    I really like the fact that you are willing to show your imperfections while learning a deck it also would help the younger players learn the deck along with you while playing it there are a lot of other streamers that are so busy editing out everything so all they show you are the best drawers in the best games and it turns out to be extremely misleading with the deck you do not do this this is why you are the number one streamer for Magic the Gathering that I watch
