You talk about immersion and then pull a handbrake turn practicing for a supposed carrier landing? In a P 47? Lol ! I guess you can do whatever you want in DCs... Re your flaps on final... all the pilots I have flown with have a landing checklist BUMPfFFHHCC is one my father used. Brakes (off) Undercarriage (down) Mixture (set as appropriate) Pitch (set) Fuel (pump on) Flaps (as required) Harnesses (tight) Hatches (closed and locked) Cowl flaps (as required) Carb heat (if relevant) I believe this has it's origins in the RAAF.
Yeah, don't want to be too serious about it ... we chose th P-47 because it has the same engine, even though it is not a carrier plane. We did get the handbrake turn from a ww2 instructional film for P-47 pilots! It was taught as an emergency procedure, when having to abort takeoff just before lift off ...
This style of navigation makes me feel like a man
Where did you get this mod? EFM or SFM?
What mod? Firefly is flying the P-47 module as a stand in until the release of the Corsair. ~ Serpent
