You ain't never lied about driving a Porsche. I drove a used one at Carmax on Saturday and have been online every day looking for a used one (Macan or Cayenne). I didn't even have the 'S' model and was still highly impressed.
Thank you for the hearted emoji. Have you experienced the oil leaks and some of the other motor/gasket etc issues that's been discussed with the Macan and Cayenne?
you all prolly dont give a damn but does anybody know a tool to get back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb forgot the account password. I would appreciate any help you can give me!
Great every day review. I really like when you hear a review from a knowledgeable yet ordinary consumer. Looking for Macan myself and this review truly helped. Thanks for taking the time to take us through your great find!
Nice man! I buy 2-3 year old luxury car from auctions and flip them for a living. I have a Porsche Macan S 2018 on the way. Do the maintenance yourself and you won’t have a problem and save a lot of money. Take it from me I’ve owned Audis , BMW, Maserati..
I am sure now after a month of ownership you know the sport plus button opens the flapper exhaust. If you like the noise, you can reach in behind the passenger exhaust tip and unplug the solenoid. It will keep the flapper open a the time. It will not throw a cel either. Drawback is a bit of drone at freeway speeds. I just bought one of these and they are a hidden gem!!
Looks awesome! Enjoy! Advice from another Porsche owner-Get a warranty. Spending 4K for a decent warranty will save you much more in the long run. Excellent cars but machines are made by humans and do break over time. Love my Porsche and wouldn’t trade it.
Look out for serious oil leaks that can set you back up to 6 grand. HPFP (high pressure fuel pump) failures, sensor failures, and cheap paint (lots of orange peel).
@@davidn8656 Yup. With Porsche these leaks are usually hidden and repaired under warranty, then suddenly appear again out of warranty. For owners it seems like the first occurrence. For those buying preowned it’s a big red flag.
What is the cost to repair something like that? I have been looking into something similar to what you purchased, but am contemplating one that is cpo and one that is not. Thanks
Wow, I just had a HPFP fail in my 2013 Audi Q7 TDI. The Bosch made part sent metal pieces throughout the injectors, fuel lines and tank. 9K quote to fix a Q7 worth 9K (not going to fix it). I say this because the Macan has an Audi engine. I adore the Macan, but am too snake bitten by Audi to buy one. Again, it is a Porsche with an Audi engine. Perhaps replace the HPFP at 80,000 before it goes out?
U saw this same one online 2 months ago . I was given a macan as a loaner and started to shop fir one.. if this was the one which I believe it is it as listed for 20,000
Great review. Thanks for sharing! Have you experienced any oil leaks? Specifically from the valve cover. Looking to by that very same model with same mileage. Would appreciate your feedback after a year of ownership ) Thanks again.
If it is German, it is overly engineered and unnecessarily complicated. I wonder how many oil leaks issues you've had so far? I own a BMW E70 N63 and I gotta tell ya...It is the wost purchase of my life
Porsche doesn't stand behind the quality of their vehicles. Transfer case on my 2015 Macan S has failed twice now in only 27,000 miles. This is a known issue which caused Porsche to extend their warranty to 7 ys. Their "improved" transfer case lasted only 2 years 2 months and 9,000 miles. I am out of warranty by 6 weeks and Porsche turns their back on problem and sticks me for $3,200 repair. Don't buy a Porsche w/o extended warranty for entire length of time you expect to own it. #1 rated warranty company - Endurance - won't even sell coverage on Macan. That should tell Porsche and all potential buyers something. Customer experience is far from an expected premium car brand experience.
Yeah, the yellow stability control warning light on the Tach is troubling, so is the Range Rover in the driveway, not sure this guy makes good used car choices.

nice! 60-70k isn't really that high of mileage - just stay on top of maintenance and you'll be fine. Extended warranty doesn't hurt as well.

Love the Macan! It is crazy that you can make high quality video review with good sound just with phone in 2020. Crazy times.
Makes things much less of a hassel.

Yup, already addressed a crank case oil leak.

Do you still have this car? If so how has it been to you. Looking to buy one soon. Do you think getting one from car max is ok?
We sold it. Are you getting a warrantee ?
@@AddictedMotors Yes, I am and will.
Interesting how your diverter value is venting to the atmosphere (@1:02 in vid).
Did you change the headlights? It looks like the newer generation. Awesome car!
Nope. Not worth it.
Really enjoyed review,well explained, 10/10 :-)
Why do a redline pull on a cold motor? Yikes

Not really, the seat cover helps.

@@AddictedMotors can't believe I missed that.. doesn't seem too bad as long as both are covered by Porsche. Bte, thank you for your prompt reply.
I notice that some Porsche's come with a removable key and some don't what's the deal with that

Maserati Grecale locks better .
It might in fact lock better.
Looks like ugly frog 🐸. May be good mechanically but it’s ugly like Panamera.
So what’s wrong with that? Assuming it does look like a frog...
