Ok I know I already commented but I couldn’t help myself! The Ticketmaster story made me think of years (yes years lol) where I would camp out for a concert called FHStival … it was a festival from a DC radio station that is now gone, 99.1 WFHS So many awesome memories! I’m down to see additional video like this! 🖤
OMG I so love this video!! I was a freshman in ‘97… what a time lmao I have tons and tons of notebooks where my friends and I wrote notes back and worth. So funny to re-read from time to time. The kids nowadays(we are old gasp) would die if they had to write actual handwritten notes 😂 This video also made me think about something my son said about me… OMG my parents were born in the 1900’s DUDE! You make it sound like I was on the Oregon trail not playing the game! Lmao I am almost died of dysentery 😂
@@GlitterFallout oh the stories I have from working there! 👀 edit what I loved (and still do) about our little neck of the woods is that all the genres of music lovers would go to each others events and performances. We’re pretty lucky.
I wish you knew how many times I went "Awwww!" while watching this video. This was a hoot and a half. Would love to see more of the big box of nostalgia!
I remember my sister sneaking me out to go to Rocky horror picture show with her when I was like 13 definitely way too mature of a show for a 13 year old but I was that kind of kid always looking for trouble but when I went to this show I could not believe how kind everyone was to me even though I was so young no one told me I shouldn't be there no one told me to go home everyone was just so kind but when the show started I'm not going to lie I was a little uncomfortable and set back in certain scenes because they do replay those things in real life kind of sometimes it's a shadow behind a sheet but it's still pretty provocative and probably something I should not have seen at that age but it was nothing I haven't seen before😊 afterwards we all went to denny's every time we went to this theater we all went to denny's afterwards and we would stay until like 3:00 sometimes 6:00 in the morning and most of the people I hung out with that were in the army they were partying all night and then going to work in the morning
I live in Tucson it's a pretty small City and we have a really big Air Base here so most of the people when they graduate high school go to the air base looking for work or to be in the Air Force or military in some capacity but yeah hanging out with people way older than me seeing things I definitely should not have seen but I must admit it made me feel like I was not the only one like I actually belonged somewhere that I wasn't weird I wasn't fat I wasn't ugly these people just made me feel so welcome
Remember being a teenager and going to something kind of like what you're talking about where a lot of bands play I remember I went cuz I wanted to see 311 play and I got to see them they were the last ones to play unfortunately they got stopped because in the mosh pits they were taking the girls clothes off concerts used to be absolutely crazy I haven't been to one since I was 20 almost 40 now
You were super edgy…love it! 2001 I had been married 11 years! Gawd I’m old… I’ve missed you, Linda. Hoping I’ll get to catch up on all the videos I’ve missed!
I saw the play RHPS at the Roxy in Hollywood CA a few times with my bestie. That was the mid ‘70’s. 😂 Yep, I’m an old Nona. Love you and your channel so much darling girl.
@@GlitterFallout Miss Linda is there an address I can send a box I put together for you? There are some Halloween items I made for you and a few I bought for you. I’m late, as usual for me. This old Nona gets a little slower every year. Thank you for all your fantabulous content darling girl.
@CarynHaralson-ji3jl Aw I appreciate it, but I don’t have a PO Box just yet and don’t feel comfortable giving out my home address. But genuinely, thank you for thinking of me.

This was great!! I've seen the Cruxshadows twice. First for my oldest daughters 15th birthday in 2008. Then we saw them again in New Orleans at vampire ball in 2017. I love them!! I'm an eldergoth so..❤❤
as an eternally sentimental person, i love these type of videos! Janet Reno is one of Will Ferrell’s best impressions! my bestie and boyfie from high school kept all my mixtapes. i wish i saved more stuff, but am grateful others did. would love to see more! omg my first band of non music players was ‘Put Heart in Dog’s Mouth’ 😂
I'm just so happy that someone remembers the Janet Reno impression. 😂 And holy crap, can Birdbath in my Liver open for Put Heart in Dog's Mouth someday?!
Wow. Sal Piro is a name I have not heard in a looooong time. I was RHPS obsessed back in my senior year of high school and into early college. (Around when the 15th anniversary hit) I still want to do the stage version and play Magenta at some point. :D
Weren't. They. The. BEST?! Not gonna lie - doing this video made me look them up to see if I could snag one again. (Nope. They're going for $1,000+ on eBay.)

Going to warped tour in Long Beach, CA 2025. I have tons of band flyers from shows in Hollywood. Before the internet that’s how we found out about concerts and local band shows.
I like to think that I am an expert in these things, and I am pretty sure Murphy was a pure breed Good Boi. You can tell from the boopable snoot.
You know, I'm PRETTTTTTY sure you're right. Certifiable.
Yes!! Mini series!!! I loved the 90’s!!
This box is CHOCK full of stuff! More videos incoming.
I love this! Makes me want to go thru my old scrapbooks and boxes...Thanks Linda!!
Please do! Such a fun trip down memory lane.

YES. I love all of my handwritten notes and had a hard time decluttering at least some of them a while back. They're amazing.
The dot matrix printer paper 😂
I can still hear the sound of it printing in my head.
My first fur baby’s name was Murphy too. 🌻💛
Murphys are the best dogs. It's a fact.
I am a few years older than you and I worked in nightlife in DC/Balto in those years. Thanks for the memory lane.
Awww, how I miss old DC nightlife. RIP Nation.

Your panic as the blush was blushing was kind of hilarious, mainly because it was so relatable.
It really is a timeless look, what can I say. 😂😂
I like this video. You and Allie tell stories while you do your makeup which makes them interesting.
