Magnus Karlsson's Free Fall announce their new album, "We Are The Night"! Guest vocalists on the album include Dino Jelusick of Animal Drive (and Dirty Shirley), Frontiers' newest vocal sensation Renan Zonta of Electric Mob, Noora Louhimo of Battle Beast, Ronnie Romero, Mike Andersson of Cloudscape, and a man who should need no introduction, Tony Martin.....
Magnus Karlsson is well known as the mastermind behind several Frontiers productions, including the successful initial Allen/Lande trilogy and the recent spin-off album, Allen/Olzon as well as releases by Starbreaker (with Tony Harnell), Bob Catley, and Kiske/Somerville. In 2008, he joined German heavy metal icons Primal Fear and with them has toured the world and recorded several successful albums which charted in multiple countries around the globe.
In 2013, he launched his solo project “Free Fall” which was warmly received by the numerous fans of the Swedish mastermind and showcased Magnus’ songwriting and production skills with lead vocals provided by a varied cast of some the finest singers of the genre.
For this new album, “We Are The Night”, Magnus again enlisted a dream team of singers featuring some of the strongest melodic singers in metal and hard rock! The list includes the awesome Noora Louhimo (BATTLE BEAST), Dino Jelusick (ANIMAL DRIVE, DIRTY SHIRLEY), Ronnie Romero (RAINBOW), the newest vocal star on the Frontiers’ label, Renan Zonta (ELECTRIC MOB), Tony Martin (ex-BLACK SABBATH), and Mike Andersson (CLOUDSCAPE).
Rounding out the line-up on the album is Anders Kollerfors on drums with mixing by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Primal Fear, Amaranthe, Pretty Maids, etc.). An absolute bast of a release which can’t be missed by all lovers of European melodic metal!

Dino is an outstanding vocalist - not really surprising that Magnus wanted him for the album. In my opinion he is the perfect symbiosis between Jorn Lande and Russel Allen... sounds good!

Magnus and Dino should team up more often. The way Magnus writes is genius. Then you add Dino’s vocals on the top. It’s staggering. Best new vocalist in a million years.

What amazes me are extreme screams at the end of the song in the range of Gillan's ones at Disturbing the Priest on Born Again album! I can't explain how Dino does reach that but looks to me like 2 same notes mixed in one, lower like kind of fry that gives the power and high that reaches the highest pitch...magnificient! If someone could explain that would be great since I am not a singer. Everytime I listen to that song I listen to that part at least 100 times...goosebumps everytime 🤘💥🤘

Two of my favourite artists, Magnus and Dino in one great epic song.. what more could any heavy music fan want? It is clear why Dino is high in demand. Everyone in hardrock and metal wants to work with the mega talented Dino. The whole album We are the night album is killer. And so is the Jelusick album Follow the blind man.

Dino's band ANIMAL DRIVE is also signed with Frontiers Music and they are dragging their feet releasing their second album. But I am glad Dino is doing his best to keep his face and voice out there for fans singing covers and joining other bands so he can perform and keep up his energy. It takes a lot of energy to sing the songs these guys do. You let your voice go for a month and you may have to work three months to get back in shape. This is hard work, but Dino always seems up for the challenge.

Yeah they’re awesome Magnus Karlsson Tom Naumann and Alex Beyrodt are great guitarists both Stefan Leibing and Henny Wolter were great too it’s sad that Stefan retired from music after he left the band in 2008 he left because he wanted to spend more time with his family and business but family comes first I respect his decision to leave the band since 2016 he plays guitar again for himself Magnus Karlsson is great too but I miss Stefan Henny Tom and Stefan were a great guitar duo same as Magnus Tom and Alex in Primal Fear too

it's amazing how both, Jelusick and Zonda, sounds better here than in their original bands... well, it's my opnion and maybe my ears... but I think that the old Karlsson had have some tricks...
He knows how to tailor music around vocals in a way nobody else can. This is why I prefer Magnus to Del Vecchio. Del Vecchio writes fun stuff but its nothing that elevates the singing. Magnus is the opposite.
