- The movie story deals with Kamal Bhatnagar is a jealous husband who begins to doubt the fidelity of his wife Sunita when his best friend Mohan enters their lives. Sunita is unable to convince Kamal that she loves only him. He leaves her, not knowing that she is pregnant with his child. Depressed and confused, Kamal becomes a homeless wanderer, while Sunita remarries to provide a secure home for her child. Many years later, the truth dawns on him as he turns up, a broken man, at his own daughter's wedding.

कल रात ये फिल्म देखी। बचपन में कभी देखी होगी पर याद नहीं। पूरी रात आंखो से आंसू निकलते रहे। ये फिल्म एक सबक देती है कि लाइफ में कुछ चीजों कोई रिवर्स गियर नहीं होता है। जब कोई पूरी तरह भी गलत लग रहा हो तब भी 1% गुंजाइश उसके सही होने की होती ही है। वो 1% सब कुछ ठीक कर सकता है। लेकिन एक बार आगे बढ़ गए तो बाद में हो सकता है सिर्फ पछतावा रह जाए। ज़िंदगी के सफर में गुजर जाते हैं जो मकाम ये गाना एक मास्टर पीस है जो पूरी फिल्म का सार है। राजेश खन्ना जी ने इस फिल्म में एक रोल में में ही ट्रिपल रोल का मैजिक पैदा किया है। पहला एक खुशमिजाज, हंसमुख प्यार से भरा व्यक्ति, दूसरा एक पजेसिव, insecure aur शक करने वाला व्यक्ति, और तीसरा पछतावे की आग में जलता हुआ, पिघलता हुआ व्यक्ति । तीनो भूमिकाएं अदा करते समय यदि काका की बॉडी लैंग्वेज, फेस एक्सप्रेशन और स्टाइल को ऑब्जर्व किया जाए तो ये बिल्कुल अलग अलग है। पहले में काका का रोमांटिक अंदाज दिल जीत लेता है, दूसरे में उनका उलझन से भरे व्यक्तित्व का बखूबी निर्वहन और तीसरे में उनकी मासूमियत दिल जीत लेती है। उस किरदार पर दया से अधिक प्रेम आता है।

इस फिल्म को सन् 2009 मे देखा था जब मै आठवी मे पढ़ाई कर रहा था लेकिन तब मेरे समझ मे नही आया था । परसों इस फिल्म को टीवी पर थोड़ा देखा तो सोचा फिल्म अच्छी है लवस्टोरी लगती है । लेकिन मुझे कोर्ट जाना था law प्रेक्टिस के लिए इस लिए नही देख पाया । आज जब मैं फिल्म को मोबाइल पर देखा तो पहले तो अतीत के लमहो मे खो गया और दुख हुआ । लेकिन इस फिल्म को देखकर मुझे जिन्दगी की बहुत बड़ी और अच्छी सीख मिली इन दस ग्यारह सालों में मैने भी बहुत गलतियां की और जो मुझे चाहते थे उन्हे ठुकराया लेकिन इस फिल्म को देखकर जो सीख मिली है मै कसम खाता हू. कि अब वो गलतियां नही करूंगा । और एक अच्छा इंसान बनकर दिखाऊंगा । बस एक लाइक कर देना जिससे मुझे अपनी कसम याद होती रहे । क्योंकि अभी नही तो कभी नही ।।।।।। क्योंकि जिन्दगी में गुजर जाते हैं जो मकाम वो फिर नहीं आते , ,वो फिर नहीं आते😔😦🙏🙏👫💑💏👪👈👈👈
आज फिर से इस फिल्म को देखें। सही कहा गया है राइटर, डायरेक्टर और ईश्वर एक ही होते हैं,बस नजरिया का अंतर होता है। आज से अड़तालिस साल पहले की फिल्म और वर्तमान संदर्भ पर एकदम फिट साबित हो रही है।
काका जी की रियल लाइफ से कितनी ज्यादा कनेक्ट है। हां अंत में डिंपल आईं पर बिल्कुल अंत में।अंत तक आते आते फिल्म ने बहुत ही ज्यादा इमोशनली रुला दिया। प्यार भरा रिश्ता एक मामूली शक की भेंट चढ़ गया। पति पत्नी में अगर एक दूसरे पर अटूट विश्वास न हो तो लाख प्यार क्यों न रहे रिश्ता ऐसे ही धरशायी हो जाता है।
जिंदगी के सफर में, पास नहीं आना, और टाइटल सॉन्ग आपकी कसम ने हृदय को छू लिया। राजेश खन्ना जी ने अपना सौ प्रतिशत इस फिल्म को दिया है। संजीव कुमार जी ने जान डाल दी है। मुमताज जी पर नारंगी रंग इतना ज्यादा खिलता है कि हमने शादी के बाद दो तीन साड़ी नारंगी खरीद ली थी। जय जय शिव शंकर पर मुमताज जी ने कयामत ढ़ा दिया है। पूरी फिल्म ने दर्शकों को बांधे रखा। पहले की फिल्मों में कहानी और शिक्षा दोनों ही सम्मिलित हुआ करती थी। हृदय से आभार, धन्यवाद यू ट्यूब को।

60 साल हो गए इस movie को फिर भी आँसू आ गए,,इसलिए क्योंकि भावनाएं कभी नहीं मरती।इसलिए ये लोग दिलों पर राज़ करते है।
इतना बेहतरीन फिल्म और हर गाना इतनी लाजवाब कलाकारी राजेश जी की...और ये जो गाना है "ज़िन्दगी के सफर में गुजर जाते है जो मकाम" इस गाने को बहुत पहले से सून रहा था आज फिल्म देखने का मन किया और ये गाना मेरी ज़िन्दगी का हिसा बन गया है। हर दिन साल भर से दो बार या एक बार तो जरूर सुनता हूं मेरे को यह गाना पूरा याद है। मेरी इंस्टाग्राम के बायो में इस गाने की लिंक है।

I remember it was July 2012 and I was in 1st standard. We were enjoying our summer vacation and one during afternoon, I heard on TV that Rajesh Khanna had died. I heard his name for the first time then. It's only in 2021 that I have realised his greatness. He probably has to be my fav actor and indeed he deserved to be the 1st superstar of India

Rajesh Khanna is also an able performer who invokes his own representation to the role given to him and makes it his own and brands his stamp on it. For me it's Sanjeev Kumar always!

बहुत ही अच्छी दिल को छू लेने वाली पारिवारिक फ़िल्म है जो पति पत्नी के वैवाहिक जीवन में होने वाली बातों पर है ।लेकिन एक दूसरे पर भरोसा रखना चाहिए जिसका विश्वास डगमगा जाता है वही पटरी बदल जाती है ।मेने भी 1987 में ये फ़िल्म देखी थी फ़िल्म के अन्तिम सीन में वहाँ जितने लोग थे एकाध को छोड़कर सभी रोये थे ।आँसू तो अब भी आ जाते हैं ।

I can't forget the fond memories associated with this Rajesh-Mumtaz classic. I remember the time when I used to search for the film in 2020 (during COVID-19 era). At the time, my love for old Hindi films was growing and respect for such films from my side was its zenith. It is the film that deals with true social problems.

Rajesh Khanna was class. Mumtaz acted brilliantly too. My analysis here is Sanvjeev Kumar was the culprit, knowing very well how his friend is ,he kept coming to meet Mumtaz. Any husband will start doubting. Also at the end he didn't take Rajesh Khanna along with him at the marriage knowing if he leaves him alone he won't come. He was the main villain. Ranjeet was a better friend of Rajesh Khanna who cleared his doubt over Mumtaz

The only movie I have seen where I can confidently say that both heroes can swap their roles and still the quality would be same. Sanjeev ji would have performed Rajesh ji roles in same way and Rajesh ji would have performed Sanjeevji role in same high quality level like they have done in this film

I was a jelous Husband and through to that my wife was obligated to leave me,i took to drinking and give up everything, luckly a good woman took me out of the slums and made me understand to have faith and believe in the person who really love You. Rajesh Khanna was a superstar with so many superhits....had heard this from friends n family. Now having seen his movies, I realise why he has a huge fan base. Awesome. He n Mumtaz are so great onscreen. Awesome songs!
The most agonizing part of this movie is the song "zindagi ke safar mein" it clearly shows how much he repents and now that the time is passed he cant do anything.... Salute to Anand Bakshi ji to write such beautifully!!! RIP

I had seen this movie during the year of releasing it and watch again it utube after a long gap of 45 years. What a wonderful movie was this! The best story, beautiful melodious songs, particular Jindegi ka safar gujar jate e moka, oh phir nahi ate wo phir nahi ate., superstar Rajesh khanna & charming actress Mumtaz, evergreen Sanjib Kumar's role were the jewels of the movie.
Great Moral from the movie in real life to be trustful for friends family,, Life is like a sea where water is flowing and never come back as time passed and later realized its too late, Best movie ever.

संजीव कुमार और राजेश खन्ना की लगभग सभी फिल्में देखी और जब भी मैंने दोनों की एक्टिंग की तुलना करने की तो संजीव कुमार मुझे राजेश खन्ना की तुलना में हमेशा बेहतरीन अभिनेता लगे।
ज़िन्दगी में कभी भी बिना सोचे किसी पे भी सक नहीं करना चाहिए बाद में पूरी उम्र उसके ही प्रश्चित में गुजर जाए। यही उदेस है इस फिल्म का ।

पहले की फिल्मों में एक अच्छी स्टोरी होती थी अच्छे गाने होते थे और देखने में तबीयत खुश हो जाता था और रहा सुपरस्टार राजेश खन्ना जी का उनका तो कोई जोड़ ही नहीं है उनकी हर मूवी बेमिसाल है उनकी हर एक अदाएं उन्हें हर सुपर स्टारों से अलग करती हैं

Rk is just superb .i dont gave words to describe him .all his movies just keep me stunned . the way he acts and his stories make me emotional 💔. Even till now there is no hero in this world to match Rk . And that was the resaon he is called the first superstar a title given to noone else.

Nice story. A perfect lesson to all those who suspect on each other. The song Jindagi ka safar mein in itself contains everything. Mesmerizing act by both Kaka, Sanjeev & Mamtaz.
