I was a die-hard Hamilton fan when it was dying, then left and joined the MCYT fandom. Now the Hamilton fandom is rising again when I'm no longer as die-hard as I used to be, but at least people such as you are making awesome animatics!
For those of you who don't know, in Wilburs latest stream, he's talking about it and him and Tommy admit that they scripted a lot of the war to be almost like a role play of Hamilton. Of course, they didnt know about Eret or much of what Dream was going to do, but they improvised and I cannot explain how many chills I got while watching this. Like wow. Amazing.
I’m assuming they used Tommy because he’s the one who really went off on them (not like a real rage or anything) from what I’ve seen Tubbo is pretty chill but I’m not always able to watch his streams
ehhh, it was less like a script and more like a bunch of references. They knew what direction they were trying to steer it into tho, they probably didn’t predict the anger that dream showed (or, pretended to show, we know it’s all fun and games)
this is amazing, I love where Eret’s glasses get shattered, and then Tommy talking to Eret anD his eyes oh my god, and how you draw Tommy- I CANT- THIS IS AMAZING!
THIS IS LAID OUT SO NICELY- Also, I like how Eret is Hamilton here, because it kind of pushes the expectation on tommy. Like at the beginning where tommy was hesitant at letting go of his home, and then at the end of the war he gave away his most prized possession. That’s what I call character development.
also, he's bi and we've all decided (without asking historians, because they don't know what they're talking about lol) that Hamilton is also bi. So that makes sense.

This was one of the animatics I watched before getting into Dream Smp. I had no idea what was happening, but coming back now, a year and two weeks since I joined the fandom, is iconic. The fact that the room is the room the betrayal happened and the click boom is the button and doors open is so good. I've seen some other room where it happens with eret as burr and I was thinking that that worked better but just the click boom bit made me changed my mind.

I find particularly stunning the parts at 0:45 (the key animation was just **chef kiss**), 1:37 with all the shadows of the counter-revolutionaries, and the one at 2:01 where Tommy from the future is trying to stop L'Manburg from being betrayed but the door slams in his face. The expressions are so well done!! I also love the potential interpretations of "the room where it happens" - is Tommy talking about the room where Eret made his deal with Dream, so he will discover why he betrayed them? Or is he talking about the room that they discovered too late to be a trap, so he can avoid that ambush and the sting of Eret's betrayal?

Your animatic is so good! The motion is very smooth where it's supossed to be and your take on the scene and stuff like in 1:36 was very fun to watch, sometimes people don't know what to put in the "holes" of their animation but you managed it very well and made it so much more interesting to watch. I really enjoyed the parts where the lightning (0:36) or Eret's glasses broke with the music, the ending was really cool too! The way the 'click, boom' fits with the whole scenery is the best thing I saw. I honestly watched this animation like 10 times arleady and probably will watch more of it, you have a real talent for animation, your ideas and the way you can make a scene look interesting is something not many people can do in their work. I hope you'll keep improving and do great things in the future

its a hamilton song used for a dream smp animatic. hamilton is a musical about Alexander Hamilton, a founding father with a very interesting life. the songs are really good imo, i suggest taking some time to listen to them :)

Well, that’s the end of the dream smp, huh? This was the animatic that made me learn what the Dream smp was and fueled my interest from there. And my god am I thankful I found this video. The dsmp has been such a wild ride and I’m so glad that this one video got me to experience such a big thing. Man I’m getting all sappy about this
