Why are so many people complaining? Korpiklaani did a shitload of songs about booze, drinking and party, the song is good and their cover is great and they obviously have fun and so do I - just enjoy life and have a party or you gotta go home!

If you survived the covers above, then you guys surely can handle Korpiklaani covering a pop song about booze and party without crying about it here in the comments, it's not like those topics are new to the band.

I do not understand why people think that metal music and fun and beaches can’t coexist. This is a band that set out to create drinking songs that were fun! Let them have it.
Also if a band does the exact same thing every time, it can easily become boring and repetitious. Let a group of creative people evolve in their craft.
If you don’t like what they come out with on a certain record, don’t buy it or don’t listen. No reason to think you are the expert or that your opinion matters. NEVER TAKE YOURSELF TOO SERIOUSLY!! Or you will be miserable your whole life with no one to blame but yourself.
My point is if a group of musicians want to have fun and make a sing you don’t like that shouldn’t take away from someone else’s enjoyment of it.

Well, that's because every time a band tries it, we get something like this track, and it just isn't good. Maybe it can be done. But so far, I haven't seen it.
No issue with the fun part BTW, metal and fun are always a main element of folk metal, but beaches just seem to be a bad fit.
@@frankvandorp2059 Just look at Turisas and their cover of Rasputin by Boney M, that stuff was filmed in a club and didn't fit at all to the rest of the stuff that they make but the song was really good.

Guys love Finland so much that they made a Havaii-style video on some deserted town beach in their sunless country with just changing their usual "dull cepia" filter to "sunny yellow" instead of going somewhere for real. True patriots!

Nah, Alestorm is a gimmick band. Not quite the same. Korpiklaani has always had light hearted stuff though, and random covers are nothing new to them. I don't like this, but it's easy enough to just ignore and wait for the next actual album.
