Agreed. You wouldn't believe how many times I have come across a person that can't carry the part well at all. In some cases it seems as if the person wasn't even 'into' the role or simply couldn't sing for the life of them. It just makes me wonder how they could cast such a person for the lead role in the first place. BUT this fellow delivers and very well. You just need to have someone that brings a nice soulfull sound to the plant and that enjoys doing the part...that is an absolute must.
You have like this heavy metal rock star singing voice which is amazing. Ususlly id see Audrey 2 having a soulful voice like Levi Stubbs ir Michael Wooley or some that are just plain flat :/ But this is a unique take on Audrey 2

I have to say, i love this Audrey and Audrey II. I'm not a big fan of the Seymour, and I don't like that kind of roar-speak the Plant did sometimes, but otherwise I was completely in love with it!! :)

This is probably the best Audrey II performance I've seen in both puppetry and voice other than the movie. Wow.
