People don't get 'discovered' anymore -- it's all about who you are related to, screw or seen on some machine driven talent show! I miss those old days of people who were found and rose to the top with no connections whats so ever!

Artist really sang back in the day, when Evelyn Champagne King came out with Shame, Kisses Don't Lie, I Don't If It's Right the clubs were bumping. You don't have the same energy with music of today everything is about sex and money. I listen to all types of music but old school seems to get the party started no matter what the occasion is.
They don't even interview people like this anymore. I miss video soul!

Hadn’t heard all of her hits, one song came to mind - Love Come Down from 1982 was impressive with that high energy beat.
