If this Invincible game is anything similar to a "Spiderman 2 open world" then this game will SUCCEED BEYOND BELIEF
Damn for the rest of the year, it seems like I only want Madden, NBA 2k25, Warhammer 40k space marine 2, wu kong fallen dynasty if it comes out, COD Black ops Cold war and the new AC game. I don't see wolverine coming out this year and after helldiver's 2, a lot of these haven't been worth buying. I'll wait on stellar blade. After seeing rise of the ronin, I'm better off playing side missions in ghost of tsushima.
They only talk about how much money the game can make. But nothing about the gameplay or anything. Sounds like a crowdfunding scam.

Game development is a business. They would be terrible business people if they weren't talking about money in this stage. Honestly our fun with video games is just a biproduct of developers trying to make money. There's also such a thing as not wanting to talk too much about mechanics that can, and most likely won't make it to the final game if they thought of it in a pre production phase.
@wrathoftheflyingspaghettim850 yea but one of the first things as a company they bring up about their game is how they plan to fleece people for their wallets screams money grab. I ge t it companies need to make money , but saying our fun is just a bi product may be true but its part of the problem with gaming nowadays , your players fun shouldnt be a bi product its quite literally the product. Without our fun the game does not exist. So yes investors care only about money but developers should not see it that way. It gets overused but its for a reason, helldivers is a perfect example of a company that clearly wants to be successful and profitable but cleary cares deeply about the players fun as if the players arent having fun the game will dies regardless of how many skins your try and sell. Bringing up money first shows skybounds cares little about the game itself and far more about the potential money earned which turns me away immediately

@@hoopla5502 literally every company thinks this way regardless of if they say it to you or not. Without money they have zero reason to want to make the product. Without money they have no reason to provide you with fun. Without a return on their investment to make the game they will have failed their jobs. Ask me if I wanna paint your house and end up spending more money on the job than I made painting it. They aren't here to throw money away on a game they are here to make a product that will make them a profit.

Yes I Agree, I wish it was open world story, but it seems like it'll be something like Marvel's Avengers/ Suicide Squad but hopefully they can learn lessons from Helldivers 2 and other successful games
