    Another useful, easy way:
    Make 2 copies of image.
On top layer, apply Filter>Blur>Average. Should turn the image solid color of some shade of whatever cast is present.
    Open curves adjustment layer.
Choose GRAY eye dropper tool and click once inside the Average blur top layer.
Now delete that top Average blur layer.
    Your image is color corrected.

I've watched 10 videos with tips for "correcting a color cast" in either PS or LR in the last few days. Half of them I turned off before getting halfway through because they were so ponderous and complicated. Not going to insult these folks. Clearly they have a PhD in Photoshop and I do not but these tutorials move too fast, have too much going on and are not as simple for those without extensive PS training. This was succinct, easy to follow and just well done. Thanks!

To colour correct in Photoshop I generally go to Image/Adjustments/Match Color and click on "Neutralise". This mostly does a great job for me. Would you know if there is a difference between the two methods or are they different ways to get the same result? I'll try playing around with them both. BTW, I follow up the neutralise by using your method to choose the best algorithm for the image - they each give a slightly different result. Thanks for the video.
