How to Make Public Profile on Snapchat

- Before turning your Snapchat into a public profile, you need to make sure some of the privacy options are set for everyone.
You can do this in the Snapchat setting menu.
Then, from the profile page, you’ll see an option that will create a public profile. Once you agree and set it up, you’ll need to edit it.
Add a picture, profile bio and make your subscribe count visible if you like.
With this public profile, anyone can subscribe to you and see your Snapchat Spotlight and Snap Map posts.
And it’s that simple to make a public profile on Snapchat.

Finally figured it out. The public profile option didn't come up until I went into settings and set the quick add and who can see things to everyone. I've also read you have to be 18+, and have sent and accepted a friend request.

On my main account it had the option to create a public profile but I never made one. On my other Snapchat account, it gave me the option to create one and I was able to make one any time. My main account gave me the option too before, but now it's just gone.

If it doesn’t work it’s bc you have to be 18 and older. Check on your snap and the bday you put on it. If it’s not 2003 or below then it don’t work 🤷🏽♂️

I am available for public profile however it is not showing up. I did update my Snapchat you mentioned it might not be available in my country. However my friend has it but I don’t see it for my profile.

On my account, my birth date, email, mobile no. is verified. It's also up to date. I also have an option for a public profile, but at last, it still shows me that something went wrong; we are unable to create your public profile. And I don't know why.

im so confused i have a public profile. and even have a short video clip uploaded than i uploaded a few photos & short videos the exact same way. i logged into my friends snapchat to check our what my public profile looks like & only shows the first original video and nothing else 🤔

Guys,To create a public profile on Snapchat,you have to have a Snapchat account that has its age set to where it’s 18+,Then the account has to be at 24 hours old,Then lastly,the account has to have at least 1 bi-directional friend(Both snap-chatters have accepted one another).

When I go to contact me everybody is not an option
The thing is that, change your settings (who can watch your story). Change it to everyone. Then we will get the public figure option immediately.
