I'm weeping tears of joy after reading the comments. It warms my heart to know there still are many brethren out who will not give in to worldly tradition. He said it is a "secular" holiday, so it's okay to celebrate it? Has that become the standard? I applaud all of you in the comments who will not bow the knee to Ba'al. I stand with you. God bless you brethren.

    • @janjoy9759
      @janjoy9759 4 года назад +8

@Joel Mendez. It's not demonic to wear a banana costume.... why not wear it March 3rd... or any other day?? The point is with the comments above, celebrating Halloween is a remembrance of the history and background of that pagan and devil worshiping day... look up what Antone Levay (founder of the satanic bible) said about how "glad he is that Christian's allow their kids to worship the devil at least one day of the year..."
Please please please do your research dig deep as to what The Lord says about this... instead of bashing Christians for speaking the truth. It's not judging! Its warning others in love and gentleness, not condemnation. The truth is, regardless of whether we believe or not, it is a demonicly charged holiday.

    Should Christian's Celebrate Halloween?
Deuteronomy 18:9-14 States that anyone who performs, associates with or celebrates practices of human sacrifice, fortune telling,
interpreting omens or are sorcerers, charmers, mediums, necromancers or speak to the dead, is an abomination to the Lord".
Are you participating in a celebration that qualifies as an abomination to the Lord? Probably not intentionally but you may be surprised to know that people who celebrate Halloween, even if they don't dress up as "scary" things are still celebrating a Holiday created by the Devil for his glory. No matter what kind of pretty box you wrap Halloween in, its root, its source is still evil.
The true origin of Halloween is a Celtic/Druid practice called Samhain that did all the wicked things mentioned in Deuteronomy. It was adopted into Christianity by Pope Gregory the 1st and 3rd in the 7th and 8th century.
The Druids were regarded as "The Kings of the Occult". They were what we call today "Devil worshippers". Demonic groups such as satanists, pagans, Wickens, Curanderas, witches and warlocks received instruction from the ancient Druid priests.
The true name and root of Halloween is "Samhain" which is a Celtic celebration of death established before Christianity. Which means it's root is NOT in All Saints Day but in evil. Halloween simply means "The eve of All Saints Day" which is another controversial celebration as is All Souls Day".
Samhain is also a demonic entity. The Druids referred to "lord" Samhain as the "Lord of darkness", AKA Lucifer.
What about the symbols of Halloween? Here is a brief reference.
Jack O Lanterns were originally severed heads.
Costumes were worn to blend in with demons.
Trick or Treating is representative of food sacrificed or given to spirits to keep them from playing tricks on the living.
There is much information on the Druids and how the wicked practice of Samhain (aka Halloween) came into Christianity . I encourage you to research them for yourself.
Please read the scritpural support the bible has provided us in regards to this subject and see how Christian's should respond to the celebration called Halloween.
According to the Bible, people who practice demonic rituals have a familiar spirit (a demon) that encourages them to do these things.
Leviticus 19:31 - Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them.
(Dont mess with or participate in a celebration whose roots are based on these activities unless you want to indirectly open the door to the attacks of the demonic. The appearance of Halloween may have changed but the spirit behind it is still the same.)
God said in Ephesians 4:27 "Give no place to the devil".
When you celebrate Halloween, it gives the devil permission to influence your life.
    Romans 12:2 KJV
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
(God says we should not conform/participate in Druid practices, AKA Halloween)
    James 4:4 NIV
You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.
(God says if you choose to adopt the ways of the world/Halloween, so that you can "please" the ones who want it, you are his enemy.)
    Proverbs 22:6 KJV
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
    1 Thessalonians 5:21‭-‬22 KJV
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.
(Spiders, witches, ghouls, goblins, ghost and innocent costumes are the appearance of or represent the root of an evil celebration!)
    3 John 1:11 ESV
Beloved, do not imitate evil but imitate good. Whoever does good is from God; whoever does evil has not seen God.
God says you can not claim to Love him or know him if you engage in wicked things such as Halloween)
    2 Corinthians 6:14‭-‬15 NIV
Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what does righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial "the devil" ? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?
(God can not and will not co-exist with demonic pratices. This means your spiritual covering during this "celebration" is one of evil)
    1 Corinthians 10:21 KJV
Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.
(You choose which master you will serve. God or the devil)
    Ephesians 5:8, 11 ESV
    Live as children of light.
Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.
(Dont participate in Halloween, instead expose the truth of what it really is!)
Romans 13:12 Put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.
(Reject all evil things and seal your victory in Christ by putting on the armor of light).
There are spiritual consequences for participating in Halloween. According to the bible, everything you do in Gods kingdom is a seed planted with a harvest soon to follow.
In Genesis 1:11-12, God says every seed you plant, will produce a matching fruit and another seed after its kind.
Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
(God says if you plant/sow and evil seed, you will get and evil fruit/return)
You might say that you do not dress your children up in "demonic/evil" costumes but that does not change the devils Holiday into something good.
The root of Halloween is evil and always will be. Putting a pretty bow on it does not change that. So when you celebrate it, you are celebrating the demonic spiritual roots behind it.
Galatians 6:8 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
God says if you participate in activities or pratices that he doesn't approve of just to please your desires aka your "flesh", you are asking for trouble. As innocent as a costume can be, the root of the celebration is still evil so when you celebrate it, that is what you sow to your spirit.
But if you abstain from the things God has called wicked, you will be blessed forever.

When I was little my parents rarely let me go Trick or Treating because of its association with Witches and Ghosts. But I could never understand what was wrong with that. At that time all I knew a witch as was a woman who flew on a broomstick, and I couldn't understand how that was evil when it was just as imaginary as Superman flying, and a ghost was just a person in a white blanket. Now I know my parents were afraid it would give me nightmares, or lead me astray. But as I got older they realized it did neither and just made me upset that all my friends, who were all Christians, were doing it and I wasn't.

An activity that is rooted in the belief that we have to honor the dead , and give them food so the condemned souls do not attack or take revenge against us, DOES NOT honor Christ. What, then, do we justify what CLEARLY comes from the dark? A child may not know what he or she is doing and just trying to have fun in a costume, but we adults are choosing to engage them and us in a party that is against everything Christians believe. Not everything is relative and not everything is justifiable by saying "it all depends on your conscience", folks.

2 Corinthians:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 and what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 and what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

I'm not sure what he calls harmless costumes? Most kids dress as superheroes. A superhero is made to take the place of Jesus they are often called a savior of mankind. So that makes them evil. If you want your children to have fun and greet neighbors and get treats just take them as who they are. Remember though if you teach children it is ok to go up to strangers and take a bunch of candy on Halloween how then do you explain they shouldn't talk to or take anything from strangers? How do you teach them eating to much sugar is bad for them?

No Christian has any business celebrating halloween night!!
Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship. AND DO NOT BE CONFORMED TO THIS WORLD [ANY LONGER WITH its SUPERFICIAL VALUES and CUSTOMS], BUT BE TRANSFORMED and PROGRESSIVELY CHANGED [as you mature spiritually] BY THE RENEWING of YOUR MIND [FOCUSING on GODLY VALUES AND ethical ATTITUDES], SO THAT you may PROVE [for yourselves] WHAT THE WILL OF GOD IS, that which is good and acceptable and PERFECT [in HIS PLAN and PURPOSE for YOU].
    Romans 12:1‭-‬2 AMP
[Let your] love be sincere (a real thing); HATE WHAT IS EVIL [LOATHE ALL UNGODLINESS, TURN IN HORROR FROM wickednYess], but hold fast to that which is good. Repay no one evil for evil, but take thought for what is honest and proper and noble [aiming to be above reproach] in the sight of everyone. [Prov. 20:22.]
    Romans 12:9‭, ‬17 AMPC
DO NOT LET YOURSELF be OVERCOME by EVIL 👹, BUT OVERCOME (master) evil with good.
    Romans 12:21 AMPC
By people involved in the celebration of halloween 🎃, They are opening up a HUGE door to EVIL and demons in their life!!
Every year kids and teenagers alike go missing!! Because the parents are not keeping them safe from the possibility of their kids being abducted by people involved in the occult underground for EVIL, satanic ritual sacrifices!! This includes especially those people who don't believe it's possible for their kids or teenagers to become victims of the occult underground!!👿💀☠️🧙‍♀️👹🎃💀⚰️👻
Christian!!! Do Not Be Deceived into believing that halloween night is simply a harmless, annual excuse for a 🎃 party!!! For God is not mocked!! HE is NOT a fool!! HE knows everything about this subject and how much it can affect You and your family!
Heed the message of WARNING ⚠️🤔⚠️from God and His Son Jesus Christ!! ⚠️🚸

If GOD is NOT glorified in it, then it is sin. It is the sin of idolatry to celebrate and to participant in any such thing. Halloween serves the flesh and it serves the devil. Jesus Christ said, “God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.” Amen. Halloween is otherwise known as the “day of the dead”, Halloween celebrates the dead. That is its whole purpose! I hear all the time, “but i dont celebrate in that part”. Well... It is impossible to Christianize this! The bible is clear and GOD has said...
    Ephesians 5:11
“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”
A Christian can therefore have absolutely NO fellowship with Halloween because it is ROOTED in Darkness. Fellowship means, to become a partaker together with others, or to have fellowship with a thing. We according to the Word of GOD can have NO Fellowship “with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” Amen
Halloween is a pagan- Satanic festival. Study the Scripture! If you love Jesus confess this sin and Repent of this. Your fellowship with GOD is broken as long as you are actively resisting GOD in order to serve the flesh and sin.
    Ask yourself...
How is the Lord Jesus Christ celebrated in Halloween? ‘
If He is not!? Then what business does s professing Christian have to do with it?

Understand idolatry, not for the adult, for the child!! protect your children's mind! Think about what they are thinking!! When a child dresses up as a character, in their mind they want to be that character!! Halloween is a perfect example of conforming to the ways of the world! If Jesus was here he would not celebrate Halloween, Jesus would say, who are you worshipping? Not the Heavenly Father, but man made traditions, repent and believe in Christ!

The participation in Halloween by most people is part conditioned response by retailers like Target and Wal-Mart who stock their shelves months in advance, and part desire to be popular with others. The last thing they want is for you to think about your participation because it ends up shrinking their profits when you realize that you are actually celebrating, based upon most of the Halloween merchandise, violence, fear, death, and gore. Holidays are days for observing with ceremonies of praising. What is praiseworthy about Halloween? Also,if the other 364 days a year you would not consider celebrating such things to be normal behavior, what makes Halloween acceptable?
Sure,it is one of America’s most popular holidays, but Halloween is also one of the most costly and deadliest. Distractions, darkness, drinking and driving, child predators handing out candy, property damage, legal issues such as children being injured on your property resulting in lawsuits, flammable costumes resluting in burns, and falls are all key dangers. In fact, pedestrian motor vehicle accidents are four (4) times higher on Halloween than any other day of the year.Where is,as Halloween's defenders call it, the "harmless fun" with all these risks?
The book "Halloween" by self-identified witch Silver Ravenwolf available at Amazon.com (ISBN-10: 1567187196) shows on the front cover the same things public schools use to decorate during Halloween, and a U.S. Air Force physical therapist who says she has been a practicing witch for four years won permission to take Halloween and seven other days off as religious holidays. Public schools who celebrate Halloween are therefore celebrating an occult religious holiday using occult religious symbols, which I thought, based on the treatment of Christmas and Easter which are Christian religious holidays, was not allowed. Sounds like religious discrimination to me.

Exchanging for treats is an early Christian tradition. Children would go door to door and offer to pray for people in exchange for sweets. Uneducated people thought that if they disguised themselves, demons wouldn't recognize them. Pagans & satanists hijacked all this. Hallow's Eve, All Saints Day and All Souls Day make up the 3 day celebration of Hallow Tide. We can bring it back to saying, "I'll pray for your family" instead of "trick or treat." We can not dress up as evil but as saints and heros. Go forth and spread the Word!

Is that actually a serious question? SHOULD CHRISTIANS CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN? Tomorrow is both a Sunday and Halloween - something to think about.
When I was much younger I had convinced myself that even as a Christian, it was OK to dress my kids up as an angel and a clown and take them out on Halloween night. I was so wrong.
Evangelist and X-Satanist, John Ramirez spent much of his early life with strong ties to the devil--he drank animal blood, conducted sacrifices, was baptized with the devil and got married in a demonic wedding on Halloween.
He said: "Have you ever heard a Satanist say, 'I can't wait for Good Friday to go to church with you?' So, why would the Christians say, 'I can't wait for Halloween to say I want to dress up'...It's cheating on God, really."

Instead be the light and show compassion, guide them to the right path. There’s not one person in the comments that hasn’t sinned or been lost in the world before. Even with this pastor, a lot of you are saying he’s a write off as a Christian or evil. Good thing God isn’t like us, all of us would’ve been a “write off” a long time ago. You don’t have to agree with him but if you’re a “Christian” isn’t it important to be like Christ in all things? Even when responding in the RUclips comments..Hmm, maybe not.. U pagans think u r so great, u sacrificed your children to your gods. Many of u still worship animals. Don't u think that our ancestors were also pagan way back in the day? But we found the truth! And no, we were not all forced to convert like u say.

    • @TheaterRaven
      @TheaterRaven 7 лет назад

      +Antonio Pall We meet again!
      Couple of things:
      1. "We are born out of sin, Jeremiah said the heart is wicked above all things. So left to our own devices we would do nothing but evil."
That's according to you and how you interpret your religion. Which is fine for you, just don't expect others to live by it.
We Pagans believe that human beings were created with enough sense in their heads to decipher good and evil for themselves. Just sayin'.
      2. "u sacrificed your children to your gods."
Historically, yes, some pagan cultures did perform human sacrifice, but modern Pagans don't.
Also, the central story of your religion is about an innocent man getting brutally tortured to death to save the souls of all humanity. If that's not human sacrifice, I don't know what is, so you're a fine one to point fingers at how barbaric historical paganism was because it involved human sacrifice.
      3. "Many of u still worship animals."
No, we don't, we worship what they represent.
Saying we worship literal, physical animals would be like me saying that, since Christians worship in churches, they must worship the physical buildings of the churches.
      4. "Don't u think that our ancestors were also pagan way back in the day?"
Well, at least you got that right--no matter what someone's religion, if they went far enough back into their family, they'd find pagan ancestors. Paganism is simply the world's oldest religion, simple as that.
      5. "But we found the truth! And no, we were not all forced to convert like u say."
Hey, if you found a truth that speaks to you and helps you live a good, kind life, fantastic. More power to ya. But your truth isn't everybody's truth. And as you'd want people to let you walk your truth in peace, do the same for others.
As for forced conversion, of course not everyone was forced to convert to Christianity. But Christianity's journey to become one of the world's most dominant religious and cultural forces wasn't exactly all sunshine and rainbows, either. History shows that. Not to mention who knows what hundreds if not thousands of native cultures, customs, and accomplishments have been lost forever because they were "too pagan" for some people's comforts?

TheaterRaven the form of Christianity whom u speak of is one i also abhor. It is Catholicism. The heresy is unspeakable. But do not be put off by them in seeking God.

I’m a Christian that celebrates it. Honestly I’m conflicted about it. Rereading bible scriptures and just analyzing things the Bible doesn’t directly call out Halloween BUT my interpretation is it’s not something in line with Christian principles. Anything other than that is bending those principles to support a narrative in favors of participation. It’s similar to fornication. People say it’s innocent, they’ll practice it responsibly, etc. Bottom line is you are not supposed to be doing it. Any excuse is just that, an excuse. 🤷🏽‍♂️

As I read these comments it saddens me that there is much criticism and no solution. Some have the freedom to participate in the culture and not in the rituals of the demonic(like Paul said about those Christians who ate meat sacrificed to idols) and some due to their conscience would rather not participate (weaker brethren as Paul would describe them) either way we should not bicker or separate ourselves because of this so called festival rather we should come together and celebrate and remember the ONE who did Die was buried and raised from the dead and somehow turn this festival from the dead works of the flesh to the risen ONE who gives life to all freely-Christmas was once a pagan holiday celebrating the winter solstice and now who in this culture really knows or participate in that ritual-so my brothers and sister I pray and encourage that we come together in our community of churches and be The light in which Christ has called us to be in the midst of darkness no matter if it’s on October 31st or any other day cause as long as they are without Christ they will die in their sins 😢

Halloween started as Celtic lore , where the season of life met with the season of death. It wasn't until pope Gregory the 3rd established all hallows Eve. So the modern iteration of Halloween isn't just pagan, it's Christian as well.

The Roman Catholic church is the apostate church. The Roman Catholic church is the Pharisees of Christianity. The Roman Catholic church is Roman, not Christian. They are like the ancient Jews who brought every idol of wood or stone or silver or gold into the temple of God. The Roman Catholic church is the most evil institution on Earth. That the Roman Catholic church embraces pagan traditions to accept Halloween should make it clear to you that Halloween is _not_ something you want to participate in.

    Answer:
Yes. Why the fuck can’t certain people celebrate something? It’s like saying; your name is widjeksk so you can’t celebrate Easter.

He should find out what his chancellor, John MacArthur, says about Halloween.
    More importantly, he should know:
    • “Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them” -and-
    • “14Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? 15Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? 16Or what agreement has a sanctuary of God with idols? For we are a sanctuary of the living God; just as God said,
    “I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM;
AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.
17Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE,” says the Lord.
“AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN,
    And I will welcome you.
18AND I WILL BE A FATHER TO YOU,
And you shall be sons and daughters to Me,”
    SAYS THE LORD ALMIGHTY.”

This is not about " Can I glorify God " if I participate in this. It is about "Does Yah want us to serve Him in the manner that others worship their gods ( fallen angels ). And the answer is NO! It is an abomination. You cannot just worship Him any old kind of way that you want to. We cannot be offering up unholy fire to Him and expect Him to just accept it.
That is Lawlessness!!!! And shows absolutely no fear of The Most High Creator of Heaven and Earth. Come ye out from among her!
