Sad to see such bleaching and desolation. This is the worst I've ever seen. I was looking at Joali for our next Maldives trip, but snorkeling is the main reason for our visit, so I dont think we will visit Joali yet, the hotel looks gorgeous though. thankfully the corals seem to jump back to life quickly once they recover.
@Anthony Budiaman unfortunately that is so far away from us, it's not really feasible, we have to get a flight halfway around the world only to get another very long haul flight to get to Tahiti. Would probably be over 24 hours in flights at exorbitant cost. Easier and cheaper to go to Maldives, we love the Maldives stunning place.

Try Vahine Island Resort in Raiatea, one of the islands in Tahiti.
