What ever happened to these skis? I don’t see any on the water. Did they have a lot of problems? I’m an owner of a 2022 rxtx. I just never hear of these things anymore
I have a ‘13 RXT-X with adjustable suspension. It’s super fast and a comfortable ride, but cleaning and maintenance is a pain. You don’t really have easy access to any engine parts under the seat so you need to remove the entire top deck to fix anything. It’s also a pain to dry after cleaning since water gets between the decks.
After they removed the iS from all models they said that it wasn't needed anymore because of the new ST3 hull design. Also, I'm sure suspension wasn't cheap to manufacture, wasn't easy to maintain and just has more areas for problems then a fixed hull design would.
How would the suspension system be now after years is it worth buying one of these used?
let's not forget the piston for the seat... when you put up the seat it hold by itself no need to put the seat away :) love my 2014 limited IS
Yup
i live on lake norman and have that exact model
Can you please do a video on the new RXP-X 300
Any idea why for 2017 they dropped IS and only offer standard suspension?
i was wondering the same thing maybe to expensive what the price of a 2017 ?
If the question is why, the answer is money

I don't get why this suspension thing didn't become a big thing...

Letting you know other water craft has brakes ...
+Marcus Furr Yes correct. Sea Doo has brakes on most of there models since 2010. Some Sparks and the GTS don't have brakes.
If you talk about the seat 5 times it must be good.
