- The roads were fairly covered in snow due to winter storm Stella. This is a point of view drive on my way home with cars off the road and well.. you will see!

Love the Golf and your videos, I'm from Europe Serbia so driving in winter conditions like that for me it's like normal winter day
but i understand you, and that golf drives nicely for fwd
For a FWD, it is just fine. As you may know, i'm more used to having AWD or RWD in the winter which beings more smiles per gallon than the tame FWD =)

I took the S3 down the road shortly to get gas for the snowblower today, what a mess out there we're getting! Took it like a champ just like your Golf. :)
I was thinking about how quattro would have been helpful when I was driving home, but yes, the Golf was a champ for sure.
We were dumped on in Pennsylvania. All roads closed today, so I never had a chance to get my Golf out in it.

22" so far. We're just not used to that much snow at once.
It's a lot of snow for sure. Roads aren't closed here but they are one the boarder for being too hazardous to drive on for most people.
Winter storms don't officially have names. The names are just something the Weather Channel made up to help promote themselves.
last year it snowed 10 inches and my dad took his Mercedes c230 rwd to Costco and ir made it
Nothing like RWD in the snow! It puts the fun factor up to 10 quite easily
I’d like to see your impressions of driving differences wIth the Golf R, in the snow and in the dry. That merge and highway was totally sketch.
Tell me about it. We just had another pretty good storm and it was completely sketchy. The only reason I am able to drive in those conditions are great snow tires.
