You get cards by opening them from card packs, you can get cards you don't have by crafting them with vials, you can get vials by burning cards you don't like. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk. :)
If you just go to the portal website itself, you won't find it. However, say you netdeck from Gamewith, you can find multiple decklists there and there will usually be a link that redirects you to the built decklist in Shadowverse Portal. Now from there just click the "Create Deck Code" on bottom left.
I think it's always the best to get the latest expansion packs. For what class you wanna choose, Sword is usually the safest option, but feel free to pick any that you like.

advising people to netdeck is the worst way to learn imo. Just fiddle around with builds, add and remove cards. Try new cards 1 by 1 that is how you get a true understanding of a TCG game (I have been homebrew building into master rankings for many years now ^^ )

There's an event going on right now that lets you get more packs and rupees, I hope the event can help you build your first optimal deck.

hey man, I have no clue how to change the leader for my decks. I have Forte and so many others but I do not see a way to change them as leaders.
Pretty sure you're able to change it by going to the edit deck section, then changing the leader for the deck you're using.

You'd have to be lucky enough to pull off a "Leader Card" from the packs.
Leaders are literally Gacha for the most part.

In very rare cases, yes they do.
but most of the cards that do come back are on the bronze rarity.
I suggest making a new account instead.

Yep, It's usually recommended to start building one class first, then work your way up to a second class, third class and so on and so forth.

A great tip is to try and use the trial decks (is that what it's called?) They're much stronger than the default decks.
