Is it possible to get a remote jun web dev job in a 1st world country such as USA while being from a third world country(South Africa) assuming that i have what it takes to get the job done, and have big real projects, and not just a funny weather app or any of those other funny old projects?

It's quite rare to achieve that, USA companies often hire within US. Now with 300k people laying off it's highly unlikely.
I would say close to impossible (not because of layoffs). And even if they would hire you, they wouldn;t pay top dollar

I have no clue about Odin project
The odin project is good, however it requires a lot of reading. So if you are a visual learner like myself it is not for you. Just do the projects they put there and make sure you understand the concepts they have there
@@owenyhaanganza6071 I'm almost halfway through the foundation course on the Odin project and honestly it seems very thorough and takes things one step at a time and I don't mind the reading too much
