If you wanna scratch your megaman itch, I recommend Gravity Circuit. It's a 2d platformer that released last year with a lot of similarities to megaman, but it has a lot of cool new elements.

Gravity Circuit is the shit! It takes most of its inspiration from the Megaman Xtreme games, not the mainline ones so there are a ton of gimmicky cool things added like the command inputs for some weapons and fusion.
I only played megaman legends but now I'm a huge fan of megaman because of its high difficulty and creative bosses you can harvest

I dunno if it's the right time to ask; but I just finished watching your old playthrough of Megaman 2 in Willy Wars and I understood your pain with all that stupid lag. I suffered the same fate many years ago as a kid. However, in recent years I've seen fans release patches that fix the movement issues & slowdown, making the whole thing the experience it should've been from the start. But here's the crucial bit: if you beat all 3 Megaman games in Willy Wars, you unlock a final Willy's Tower where you get to pick weapons from all three games combined plus three never-seen-before robot masters, which would make this content exclusive to this version.
I understand if you're not interested in going through all this trouble but I felt the need to tell you since I love your megaman-related streams. Cheers!
One of the stages has background music that is literally Lost Labyrinth Zone from Sonic 4 but slowed down and now I'm wondering how many other games they're taking off from lol

This is one of my favorite streams,seeing that you're replaying games you streamed before I'd like to suggest Mega Man 6.
1:52:45: since he had one extra life left, mike should have just tried to beat it without the e-tank. If he died, he could then use it as a last resort on the next play. Case in point: he didn't even get hit after using the e-tank.

The level aesthetics and design throughout this hack were very hit or miss but, dear fucking lord, the current layout of that last level was atrocious. No mod which labels itself "Back to Basics" should be including anything close to that sort of pixel perfect shit. If I want to play I Wanna Be the Guy, I'll fucking play that.
Mike, there are good NES hacks that you will like. For example, two-player co-op hacks for games that were previously single-player: "Real Double Dragon" (Double Dragon 1 hack), "Wrecking Two" (Wrecking Crew hack), "Super Mario Bros. - Two Players Hack", "DuckTales 2 - Two Players Hack"
I think the worst part of this hack by far is the fact only a single item was given and to make it seem more "creative" , they give the player a useless weapon that they constantly have to spam to move horizontally in air, instead of ya know...item 2. what a stupid idea.

My good deed for today: If you want to prevent yourself from more grey hairs, avoid the Mega Man hacks by Timaeus. He did this one and he also did the Mega Man The New Lands hack you played last year. It appears that he is fond of putting BS kaizo stuff in the last levels since the New Lands hacks also had an area in Wily's castle that was similar to the stuff you encountered in the first Wily stage and the last Wily stage here. Write that name down so that when you come across another Mega Man hack by him, you can use the fucking finger and go "Nope!". Because personally I think it is a safe bet at this point, that he will put another part like this in the next hack he does.
Actually started watching Dinosaurs again recently. Watched it as a child and even my parents liked it. Up to this day, whenever anyone in my family wears a plaid lumberjack shirt, we call him "Tree pusher Earl" to this day, based on the type of shirt Earl Sinclair wore.
The level of frustration in this run was insane. Great stuff.

This was a major problem observed with Proto Man, and at the time Dr. Light decided to abandoned the "trusted" white petroleum-based solution to a custom compound created with the help of Roll. It seemed to work, although Dr. Light never really understood why. Only Roll knows the secret ingredients that went into it. After months of testing off site with this new lubricant, Rock was seen hunched over in what looked like pain. Dr. Light rushed to the rescue to see what was happened. "Don't come any closer!" warned Mega Man. "It hurts, but I'm... embarrassed. Look away please Dr. Light?" As suggested, Dr. Light looked away. With tears in his eyes, Dr. Light looked in amazement at Mega Man's new jumping intensity. As he walked along he felt something under his foot, but was so enthralled by the view of Mega Man jumping that he figured it was nothing so serious and that Roll would be happy to clean his shoes later on. Back at the headquarters Dr. Light had totally forgotten about the shoes and as he walked around the pristine floor Roll ran in screaming. "What the FUCK are you doing Dr. Light. Don't you fucking ever learn? Wipe your GODDAMN feet. OMG OLD MAN." Dr. Light grinned at Roll, and snarked back and calmly said "You'd do well to know your place, Roll. You clean it up. That's what you were designed for." He walked into the laboratories and Roll went into cleaning mode. "Oh, this substance is new." she exclaimed. "It's so lovely, that scent, that glossy texture, that taste." Her mind raced as waves of waves of excitement and nostalgia washed over her. Her heart grew warm with a sequence of data that eludes her to this day.

I liked the ROM hack creator's music of choice in selecting Castlevania II: Simon's Quest Dracula Castle soundtrack for the penultimate Dr. Wily fight stage, however, fuck just about everything else! Mike's sanity nearly went into nervous breakdown mode for real this time, and wasn't worth it. Typically I appreciate all MM NES Hacks Mike discovers where some frustration is expected, inherent even in a Mega Man title via trial and error, however, there is such a thing as taking any creation a step too far. You're a true ManBaby BAMF for tolerating this to the bitter end.
This hack is kinda assy. Levels were either too hard or stupid easy which is a sign of sloppy level design. Also the color pallete is dreadful and very monocolor making things like spikes hard to see. The soundtrack was nice but overall there's better hacks out there.

Torneko is easy but the bonus missions are impossible. I keep thinking to that time I commented and said I had a PS2 version of the game... but it turns out I was just playing the PS1 game on the PS2 and forgot.
