    Question about Profhilo, it’s expensive and I’m not convinced of sustained results let alone the effect it’s having on the skin longer term. It would appear it actually dried my skin in the long run. I’ve also heard that HA can have this effect and potentially cause long term damage, especially on drier skin types. Would like to know more

    • @coopermosses
      @coopermosses Год назад

      COVID has shown the high low HA can actually age the face when you stop using. Step away from them. Polynucleotide treatments I prefer nucleofill and Gouri are not skin booster treatments they are bio stimulation and that the way to spend your money. I have a clinic in UK. The uptake is slow but the results are far better with either/both of these treatments.

      I had mesotherapy (with HA not profilho though) in July, initially my skin looked good (not a huge difference to be honest), after couple of months I noticed a lot more dryness especially when moving muscles- I have a suspicion it's because of meso.

    So which is for skin tightening and which is for filling? Is it just the PLLA for filling, or is there a PCL for filling?
    Thank you!!

    Great video. I have been using both polynucleotide treatment and Gouri for over a year. They afe far superior to prohfilo type treatments which should be seen as just an injectable moisturizer. Bio stimulation is the future. Great video explaining ans nice and short too!

    I sculptra along my jawline and cheekbones a month ago. I'm 53 so it will take a few more treatments to see any results. I am also going to get radiesse in my neck next week. That should take multiple treatments as well. I'm looking forward to the results

    I'm sure they're good but these injections cost around $800-900 per treatment. Way too expensive for a temporary effect.

    How does this compare to Juvelook? which would be reconmmended for acne scars (atrophic)?

  • @tomsbg
    @tomsbg 4 месяца назад +2

    Profhilo is good for scars. I have been trying to fix 2 indented face scars. First treatment, Subscision, Sculptra and Fraxel. It looked good (60% improvement) the first few days, then the 60% decreased to 10%. I tried the Halo RF microneedling, most painful device experienced, maybe 5% improvement. Maybe if I did more sessions it would incrementally get better, but I don't want to experience that pain again. I had Prohfilo injected into the scars, 70% improvement decreased to 20% improvement, then after a month went up to 30%. I will be getting another profhilo injection soon.

      Hi! This is interesting to see your replies, bc so far I only use Profhilo to improve my patients hydration. Did the injector inject directly on your scars and how many cc? Thank you!

    • @toms7638
      @toms7638 Месяц назад

      I think she directly stuck the needle through the whole scar...then filled it little by little along the way. I dont know how many cc s.

    • @toms7638
      @toms7638 Месяц назад

      Side note: The dermatologist is in another country, and I haven't had time to get the other treatment. The improvement diminished by maybe 40%...so I have to get another injection soon. Still...its at 30-40% improvement.

    Feel with skin booster you see them more faster
    Just hoping this one works there more expensive then the skin boosters 🙏

    Polynucleotides may not work for everyone - just to be aware of that. I've had 3 sessions of Vitaran (one of the best ones I am told) and it's been 2 months now since my first - the difference is extremely subtle. Some days I see it but mostly I don't see a change. At least not yet.They say the magic happens 3 months after your last treatment..so we will see. Just saying it's not always a huge transformation. Thanks for sharing the video and others sharing their experiences in the comments.
