Got the 14 Pro Max grip case from dBrand today. Magnetic strength is fine but weaker than official Apple cases and so could be better. Super grippy, very happy with that. Since you'll want to avoid the skin for max magnetic strength, there should be a purchase option with no skin, and the texture of the case back made more suitable for skin-less operation (it marks very easily now since it's not intended to be used bare). Or if they improved the magnetic strength then perhaps there'd be no reason to use it bare. There should also be an option (perhaps for a fee) to have a skin pre-applied instead of just included in the same box.
That’s what I like about esr. They sell a case that has a magnet built into it. I would have went with them again this year, but I couldn’t pass up on Dbrands case design.
I have the Grip case for my iphone 13 Pro, i agree with you Tee, everything is perfect they just need to slightly improve the MagSafe Strength, and I feel like you lose a little bit more strength when you put skins on the phone! Nice video like always can't wait for the next ones 👍
My phone stays on my MagSafe car mount for my car/semi truck. That’s all I care about when it comes to MagSafe. Plus I have the leather skin and those are significantly thicker than the other skins
I canceled my case order from amazon after watching your video. My order for the matte black is backordered from dbrand. I had some amazing customer service from dbrand in the past and jumped right on it! Always wanted to go back to dbrand for something after they helped me with my macbook skin. This was the other case I was thinking about purchasing instead of the sheath but the reason why I think I’ll like the sheath the best is because it has grip on the entire case. Some cases will have great grip on the sides but then slippery on the back of the case.
I have a Sheath and while the sides are perfect in terms of grip, I find the back too slippery to use, so it stays on my shelf 100% of the time unfortunately.

If you are like me and want a slim case that protects, this is it. I drop my phone at least once a month on concrete or asphalt. Every phone I had previously the screen would break due to me wanting. Semi slim case. This is the first case that has lasted and is slimish. Also, it’s not grippy as in most rubber cases that have a smooth rubber stick grip. It’s like a micro rubber/plastic sandpaper grip. I love the feeling of tbh

Hmmmmm right now I would have to say the grip. The Mous case might have a flaw but I’m trying to see if it’s a defect with my model or if it’s a widespread issue.

I bought this case to my iPhone 13 mini, after 6 months it starting to fall apart, the bumper got loose and also the case itself lost the form. I would NOT reccomend this case!

I’m holding a Grip case in my hand and I’ll give you a handful of reasons to look elsewhere. 1. You can’t tell the volume rockers apart from one another 2. The vinyl sticker I got (one of the new desert designs) doesn’t add to the grip 3. I was hoping for an unbranded look and the “Grip” logo indent is somewhat visible through the vinyl sticker 4. The skin has a visible crease at the bottom because the Grip case has a seam/divot on the bottom, I feel my alignment was close enough? 5. The skin has imperfections that were caused during shipment from the giant camera bump stabbing into the vinyl even through the vinyl they have to protect the other vinyl 6. It kinda smells like I’m holding what Harbor Freight smells like inside 7. It really does feel like holding sandpaper 8. I seriously doubt there was any environmental consideration taken with this case For a premium case focused on aesthetics I’m disappointed.
I don't think the phone will be protected that well because of how the case goes flush with the screen from edge to edge. Rhinoshield is probably the best. Mous goes almost flush but it's a little raised, that's one of the best. I have that. If only dbrand did something similar
I had one for my iPhone 13 Pro Max. You should mention how HOT the phone gets when charging with MagSafe. If you have a skin on the grip case and like to wirelessly charge ur phone over night. Boy does the phone get extremely HOT in the morning. Is that still an issue can you confirm? Thank you

I have tried a few cases but the Torras is really good in terms of protection and MagSafe... those magnets are really strong it can even hold a battery pack ESR 5000mah no movements at all

Still can't stand the iPhone overall, but they do have some things going for it, but a case is a case, and I can appreciate the grind and dedication it takes to try and get info out to people with so many products out there. Yeah it's a good overall case, I just won't buy it until they put much better magnets because i use a popsocket wallet accessory and I don't ever want to lose that either...

I just purchased one of the D Brand skin and case and once applied it looks great but my only concern is once i put my S21 Ultra in the case it does'nt seem to have that much protection in the front if it falls flat ?????.... it does seem to have more protection - rise from the top and bottom but viewing from the side it looks to close to the level of the phone .

The new Caudabe synthesis is amazing. Might be better this year than the sheath.

The only reason keeping me from buying a dbrand grip case is they don't list the drop rating, doesn't even mention if it's military grade.
