Although you notice some hints of Eddy VH, Randy Rhodes or Yngwie Malmsteen in his phrases, Akira definitely has his style. Akira's both-hand tapping is simply breathtaking. Minoru, Masayoshi & Munetaka were outstanding as well. I wish I could have been at this live. I don't even listen to today's garbage.
i love this band i was 13 14 years old when there first american album was released yeah akira was influinced by american guitarists but one thing the most important thing is these guys wrote kickass fun songs classic rock n roll here a lot of the guitar players here in america who had an impact on akira cant say the same thing if the songs aren't great whats the point every thing else is just gravy these guys definitly new how to write great kick ass fun rock n roll song that will be are classics
