    I generally really like your flips, but this one doesn't deserve all that enthusiasm you show in your vid. It looks like rubbish, sorry. The top is too flimsy and should have rounded edges. Also, it's not going to last. The paint on the insulation tubes won't hold very well and the thing will fall apart if you accidentally bump into it. With a little more effort and different materials you could have pulled this off, I know you have the skills.

      @ClearwaterKB Год назад +25

      Some large PVC with concrete in the base for the columns, small PVC cut in half in place of the foam, wood plugs inside the columns to secure the top and some textured paint would make this so much more stable and durable. What she made would be fine for temporary event decor, stage set, etc., but not for everyday life.

      You didn’t understand what she was saying. She saw a marble table in a magazine for $8000 and she decided to make her own by using cheap materials. So she hasn’t priced the one she made $8000 nor is she selling or trying to sell it for that amount. She just wanted to show people you can see something fancy & expensive in a magazine or a shop and you can copy the design for very little expense. Hope that explanation helps.

    • @Edvardco
      @Edvardco Год назад +1

    • @sarah30uk
      @sarah30uk Год назад

      @@Edvardco OMFG are you stupid or just stupid??? She DID NOT sell the one she made for 8k. What are you not understanding here. Let me try and give you an example 🙄 so let’s say you are looking through a magazine and you see a beautiful bespoke piece of clothing, but the price tag is super high, but you would really love to have it. Then you think to yourself hang on a min I could easily make that exact piece of clothing for MYSELF out of some really cheap old curtains my Grandma use to have and it’s only going to cost me a few $$ to make BUT it will look exactly like the beautiful bespoke piece of clothing you saw in in that magazine. So do you understand now? She isn’t selling or going to try and sell a table she’s made out of foam and glue for 8k. She done the project for herself and for her own home. And as for the 8k marble table that was in the magazine, personally I think it’s ugly and I wouldn’t pay $800 never mind $8000. But it’s her choice and if she likes it then that’s all that matters.
