Thank You. It was actually a very helpful video. I have been missing out on many potential projects because I didn't know how to make a POrtfolio. But now I have a basic understanding of it and with time, I am sure that I can make a killer portfolio. Ps: One question. Hi Neville, when auto-forwarding a domain to your Google Doc does it have to be a Google domain? I have looked at how to do this and everything I find on RUclips says it has to be a Google domain. Are you are to explain this process a bit further please. I'm a little confused. Thanks in advance. Kind regards, Dale
I'm so glad I came across this video hahahaha, was already taking ages to figure things out. I was wondering what I can list as technical skills. I mean I have only done copywriting for Social Media and lead magnets (whitepapers), should I just list the project management tools I used, like clickup? keyword research for Social Media? Chat GPT?
I'm interested in this field but I know nothing about it. I hear people talking about copywriting for b2b, case studies, etc. I would actually like to know examples of that, what they mean and how they work and what software do you need to create or upload of all that. Would someone help me please ?
This would work super well with people who are looking to offer something for no charge too, right? EX: Just showing examples of how you write, and asking for help getting experience?
Absolutely. I think of a Google Doc as a basic webpage generator.....I mean you view them through the web, and can modify content. That itself IS a website maker!
So, I have a Word doc or a PDF on my hard drive. I want my portfolio reader to be able to access and view it, but I don't want to post the entire document on the Google Doc. What's my solution?
Thanks! As someone about to take a Digital Marketing full spectrum program (from Ads and Copy to SEO and Video), I can determine what specific channels I want to focus on, then make a portfolio off Google Docs (altering things as I move on). I'm an independent filmmaker, who initially wanted to learn how to improve my sales (thus the DM program), and I already have a few, general webpages for my films. Now, perhaps, I can add skills as I go along on that Google Docs Portfolio, eventually incorporating all of that info into a newly revised, single film website (which may also offer shooting commercials, writing copy, branding, or whatever). Or would you recommend keeping my filming and digital marketing on separate landing pages? Thanks again Neville!
Hi, I am confused on what the portfolio is supposed to look like when sending it over to a possible employer? like if I start in Word would I just add words and images and backgrounds? is it meant to be something 100% finished? I want to use google docs.
